If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

If you don't absolutely love your new slipcovered seating or upholstered seating for any reason, return it within 10 days of delivery absolutely free – we'll even pay the return shipping. It's that simple. We guarantee it. Now doesn't that make you happy?

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries


  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time for a change I have a tendency to choose colors that tend toward fall hues. It was time for a change. I wanted to choose linens in a color that would bring a bit of fresh air into my decor and these napkins certainly worked toward that goal. I ordered them in the blue with a white initial and they are lovely. Paired with the Marseille Quilted Rectangular Placemats in light blue, they make quite a statement. The blue napkins complement the light blue of the placemats quite nicely and I could't be more pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Napkins! I bought 12 of these for a wedding gift in Putty with a single letter monogram in white. They looked great. The monogram was on the correct side of the napkin with the correct placement (as per the previous comments by "Do Not Buy." Also, in regards to that review, the neighbor chose a monogram that actually calls for 3 letters, not 1, and the monogram she chose comes with the marks on either side of the monogram.) I chose monogram #35 that is a cursive, one capital letter monogram. I was very pleased with the size and feel of the linen napkin and am about to order 16 more for another wedding gift!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy Our 97 year old neighbor got us a Southern Living Set of 4 Hemstitch Linen Napkins for Christmas. My wife was thrilled to receive them, until she looked at the napkins. 3 out of the 4 have problems that NEVER should been allowed to be shipped. Where is your quality control? On one we can see where they put the monogram in the wrong place and ripped the napkin taking in out, one has black specs sewed into the napkin and on one they put the monogram on the back of the napkin. We do not want to upset out 97 year old neighbor that is in bad health because this would really upset her. We called customer care and said we could send them back at our expense, but could not guarantee they would not contact our neighbor. So thanks Ballard for taking advantage of a sweet lady and taking her money and sending out this quality of work. The napkins will now be going in the trash along with any of your catalogs we receive. I had to pick 1 star, because it would not let me do no stars.
