Rated 3 out of 5 by hero11 from Like the look, function isn't really there This lamp has the look I wanted but the swing arm function is very stiff, not easily adjusted, and makes a horrible squeaking sound when adjusted (see video). I feel like this defeats the purpose of a swing arm lamp. I exchanged the first one I received because I thought it was defective but the second one had the same issue. Also, there is a slight difference in the finish of the metal pieces. The back plate has a more rose gold/brass hue while the rest of the metal pieces are an olive gold/brass tone. This may not bother others but it's noticeable enough to bother me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Grant Swing Arm Sconce One of the lamps had a very stiff on/off mechanism, and I was unable to ever turn the lamp off. My husband made an adjustment to the mechanism so that I can now turn the lamp off myself. Also, the shade pictured on line was not the shade we received. I liked the tapered shade pictured, but our shade is shaped like a drum and is not what we wanted.
