Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.

  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy style upgrade We are doing a style upgrade thru the house, mainly via getting rid of excess stuff, painting, rearranging, and accessorizing to current but timeless trends. I already installed the large orb chandelier in bronze in the foyer ( which Is AWESOME), so this ties that finish and style together. I have can lights thru the kitchen plus a hanging fixture toward the family room. I added this pendant adapter light over the sink, with a edison bulb; took me 10 minutes and it looks so great, on or off. I ordered the hardwire version to replace the other light. If I had can lights right over the island I would use these there too. I used a 60 watt bulb but may go to 40 w for next fixture. I hope Ballard comes out with a semiflush light in bronze that isnt too industrial, for my family room.

I finally ordered the silver ones and they sat for a couple weeks at the daunting task of installing them. My husband finally did it and he did say they were kind of a pain to install, but prob only took 1/2 hour and they look amazing!!!! I could not be happier with them. Thank you Ballard!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lights - But Some Install Advice Love these lights over our island - but like several others that commented about having trouble getting the base to sit flush against the ceiling I too had some trouble. After a few days I got them perfect - let me explain. First, when installing these make sure the cord that is wrapped around the internal hanger hangs down exactly in the center of the can - this can be tricky so be patient. Next,..wait. Yes wait a few days - once you have them installed don't worry about getting the base flush to the ceiling just yet. I found that letting the cord hang straight for a few days really helped when snugging the base up to the ceiling. And when your doing that don't pull down on the cord and then push up on the base - it's tricky not to do but you won't get good results. Just loosen the black compression clamp and push up on that until the base touches the ceiling and then hand tighten. It took few tries but I finally got it flush. Good Luck - but the results are worth it.
