I purchased 5 lights to go Over my dinning table as featured in the magazine this month.These are stunning lights and simple but elegant as deacribed.Im going for a mutted honey champagne gold in the home and the gold featured on these lights were on point.I was missing one gold screw that holds light to ceiling but customer services was so helpful in replacing the light.You won’t go wrong with these lights

I got two of them on sale, and they were much cheaper then what I'd been looking at from the competitor. So quality isn't fantastic. Its very difficult to get them perfectly even because the rubber gasket that is under the screws does move quite a bit. The brass trim does not go up on the inside, so you can see where the glue has attached them. Needs very specific light bulb to make sure its long enough as the top of the bulb screws in well above the glass. Regular blubs look strange. Hoping the last awhile, but pretty worried the screws won't hold the glass and they'll crash down some night.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TMiddleton from Pretty but a little unstable While the pendants are extremely attractive (which is why I gave them 3 stars) the way the lights are fastened together seems problematic. Specifically, it was hard to connect the screws on the cord to the glass domes without tightening them so much they would break the glass or leave them so loose that the domes would not slip out and drop and break. The manufacturer does have a rubber band around the neck of the glass to hold the screws in place but it would have been much easier and safer to have a lip on the glass neck to ensure the screws would hold. Manipulating the tension of each of the screws was also necessary to ensure they hung straight. It took my installer well over an hour to satisfactorily hang the pendants so they were even, straight, and secure. However, Im still somewhat fearful the screws could give way at any time and come crashing down on my granite kitchen island counter. I didn't return them because I waited too long after purchasing them to have them installed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GaylaRae from Franklin pendant The metal band around the bottom of the glass does not extend into the inside of the glass. Unfortunately you can see the glue, etc. on the inside. The brightness of the metal finish is definitely not as beautiful or gold as it’s portrayed in the catalogs or on-line.

Rated 3 out of 5 by WendyMarie from Pendant Quality I just purchased the FranklinGlass Globe Pendants and was disappointed in the quality of the fixture. The brass rings are not very substantial and the brass color in the photos look much brighter then the dull brass that is on the fixture. They just don't look very expensive for the money and I was hoping for more of a statement and a shine to the brass like the photo. I Would not purchase again, however we needed to finish our remodeling g project so we hung them and they were easy to hang. One of the two lights were missing the red packet with the parts so we had to get our own. Customer service was great and offered to send out a new light but it was easy to use the old screws we had rather then waiting for a replacement.

Some of the spots are crooked. :( Also, the band at the top snapped on 2 of our 3 lights after only months. Like the lights, but very bummed at the quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LauraDes from Poor quality I loved these pendants when I had them installed 2 years ago. Unfortunately, they have not stood the test of time. The rubber gaskets have both snapped and the brass rim just fell off of one of the pendants after a light dusting. I contacted customer service and was told there was nothing to be done on their end. They advised me to replace the gaskets on my own and to glue the rim back onto to the pendant. I am disappointed that these pendants have not held up to light use, and furthermore that customer service was unhelpful. It has certainly made me reconsider using Ballard as a source for high-quality lighting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tsheppard from Disappointed I wish I had inspected these when they first arrived. I would have returned them. We had to put hanging these on hold. So we sat the boxes in the basement until last weekend. The quality isn't what I expected coming from Ballard. The brass edges are glued to the glass. So you can see the glue on the underside of the glass upon walking up to the table. Very disappointing! The brass edge should be wrapped around the edge to the other side of the glass. It looks cheap and messy. They are hung now which for us was too much trouble to turn around and take down.
