Fantastic accentI love this on the wall. It is so unique I am thinking of buying another one while they are available. I have a wall that needed a final one of a kind touch and this was it. The hangers were easy to apply. The look is a mix of boho and modern. Terrific buy!!

Pizza paddles are really uniqueI purchased two of the paddles, one as a birthday gift, one to keep. Both paddles were the same shape though different sizes and colors. One had a repair on the handle which only added to its character. Had a tough time deciding which one to give away. Looks great in my kitchen.

Unique product!I love these pizza paddles. I bought three for a large kitchen wall in our home and they work perfectly! Each is slightly different. One's paddle is very dark (worn), one's handle is slightly curved. Pretty easy to add the hooks and hang. Definitley recommend!

Like the look it provides on a wallI purchased 2 paddles. They give a unique dimension to wall decor and I like it. I have seen antique oven/pizza paddles in Europe. These could be “authentic”, and I would hope Ballard Designs would not include a false detail saying they are authentic when In fact they aren’t. If by chance they are not authentic, price should be much less. It’s about the wall decor. Right?

Made it workOf the 2 I got, only one has even a remote possibility of being "found" while the other is clearly new pine wood charred to make look aged. Mine are much darker than the ones pictured here, but overall I am fine with the end result.

Definitely not as picturedI ordered two of these. The first one was very dark and only about 8 inches wide. I sent it back. The second was a little better but still looked nothing like the ones in the magazine. They obviously kept the best looking ones for the pictures.

Quick deliveryThe European found pizza paddles arrived quickly, and while the catelog stated that all the paddles were different, I was a bit disappointed that the 2 paddles I purchased were not as nice or detailed as the ones in the catelog. They are OK, and I will keep them, I was just hoping for something closer to the pictured items.

Colors way off.The colors on these two that I ordered are so different I have to paint them I guess. my husband threw the box out before I could request a return. A little off would be ok but one is dark coffee and one is like pictured about the bed on the site. Not real happy and they are twice the price as other places I have found.

not authenticI was so disappointed with these paddles. Purchased two that are identical- looks like someone just made them and put a little piece of metal on each in exactly the same spot to make them look aged?. I am keeping them and going to distress and add some stain to them but these are not worth the money. Shame on ballards. I've purchased so much from them and have always been pleased. Not this time

DO NOT ORDER THESE!After several months of delay. I received the 2 "European" pizza paddles. I cannot tell you how disappointd I was after removing them from the box. First of all, in no way are these "European" and they are nothing like what is shown in the picture. They are not old but rather are new, cheap construction and are made very poorly. The paddle part is at last 1 1/2" thick, completely round and is held together with STAPLES which can be seen. If I were to shorten the handle, it would look like a small banjo. I would be embarrassed to hang these anywhere in my home. My advice is DO NOT BUY!

The paddle wasn't like the catalog pictureThe pizza paddle has been on my wish list for awhile so I finally bought it and was so disappointed. It wasn't at all "rustic and used" as expected. Honestly it looks like it recently came from a wood shop that was roughed up like home floors with a round top that couldn't fit a pizza if we wanted plus the top was 2 inches thick! I never give bad reviews but this just wasn't what Ballards said it would be. Skip this purchase.

Do Not Look Authentic!Like the previous poster stated, these do not look authentic. I purchased two and they look identical except one is slightly smaller. Both have the same so called "repair". Can't express how disappointed I am with this purchase.

Not as picturedI had high hopes for this item, but the paddle I received is much darker than the ones pictured. In my opinion, it does not seem authentic and is not worth the price. I have many wonderful Ballard items in my home and this is my first disappointment.
