After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.

Eton Club Chair and matching ottomanThis is a small-ish club chair and ottoman, which is perfect for my recent down-sizing. It is comfortable but needs a lumbar pillow for the back. Both pieces are very sturdy, and the upholstery I chose seems substantial and hopefully long-wearing. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful & Classic but a little shortI love this chair! It's so comfortable. I only wish I would have been able to see it in person before I bought it because I couldn't visualize it's height just from the photos online. (We don't have a store in Utah) It is quite short and next to my bed, which is high off the ground, it looks a little too low. Only something you would notice in person in a showroom next to a larger/higher bed. But, I love it enough to not let this bother me.

Great style at a good price!My new chair and matching ottoman arrived recently -- and look absolutely beautiful in my living room/library. Both are super comfortable and the workmanship is outstanding. I couldn't be happier (and my husband likes them, too). I chose an in-store fabric -- it seems like it will be durable but classy. I would recommend Ballard Designs to anyone looking to buy new quality furniture!

Soooo comfortable!I ordered this chair and ottoman in washable velvet for my master bedroom. I LOVE it! It is so pretty and so comfortable. And when my dog got a spot of dirt on it I was able to just wipe it off with a damp cloth.

Love my chair & ottoman!I have never purchased furniture from Ballard but want you to know that I am a picky buyer! This exceeded my expectations. I ordered a ticking stipe fabric and the stripes line up perfectly. Chair is extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend. The delivery people were unbelievably nice, polite and careful. Dirty Delivery!I'm pleased with my purchase. But the delivery left a lot to be desired. Prior to delivery, the delivery people kept telling me they couldn't deliver to the top floor in my townhouse. When the delivery finally came, the men told me it was a very easy delivery. However, even though the delivery men wore latex gloves, the gloves were dirty and got MANY dirty marks on the white chair and ottoman. I spent about two hours trying to get the white furniture clean. I'm still finding dirty marks.

The only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is that I had to clip some errant threads at the base of the ottoman that should not have been left hanging. That said, I would definitely buy this piece again.

Great chair…for a smaller person!👍I love the chair and the look….just wish the back was a little taller to support your neck. It is a smaller club chair…but look is fabulous and very well made and upholstered.

Not impressed with this chair and ottomanI've purchased other upholstered furniture from Ballard, including a sofa and a couple of chairs, and this one was a big disappointment in comparison. It's not very sturdy or well made, the frame already squeaking after only a few weeks of use. The upholstery and fabric are beginning to look shabby in spots as well. It's just not going ot be a long-term investment as a piece of furniture, which given the cost and the extremely long wait time are a huge disappointment. I feel like I threw a lot of money away, which is upsetting and not my usual experience with Ballard.

Elton upholstered chair and ottomanNo pattern match. Damaged on delivery. Six month turnaround, so now we wait until November for a replacement chair. Delivery company completely mismanaged the delivery and when they did show up, their hands were quite dirty and they transferred dark smudges on the white chair.

Lacking Comfort and CraftsmanshipThis chair was so incredibly comfortable in the store. It also looked beautiful. What I received was far from what I sat in at the store. I am extremely disappointed. Not only is it the least comfortable chair in my living room, it lacks the craftsmanship that I would have expected from Ballard. The seams are not straight, the fabric is puckered, the back pillow is oddly sewn so it does not sit right, and again, its not the level of comfort I experienced in the store. This is after waiting almost 7 months for these chairs. The one positive about the chair is the fabric. I love the fabric.

Poor customer serviceToo make a long story short. I ordered several pieces of living room furniture in Dec. 2020. I told them it was being delivered to Florida and I would not be there after May 30, 2021. I was assured it would be there prior to that date. Some of it was. The coach and chair were not. I was told that it would be delivered after I left , and that if I could not arrange for a delivery I would have to pay storage fees. I made numerous phone calls, sent numerous emails to Ballards Customer Service area and my consi erge and sent several letters including emails and letters to the President of Ballards and Cornerstone Brands which owns them. These where never responded too, I understood the reason for delay, they blamed it on Coviid. I was upset by the lack of response. This was much more than one or two emails and letters. I finally got a good customer service rep in Sept. who arranged with Ballard to take care of the storage. I spent hours on this. After agreeing to store items the shipping company also never responded to emails and phone calls about the delivery date and at one time in Sept. threatened to return the merchandise. It took several phone calls to Ballard to fix this. When it was finally delivered it was the incorrect type of delivery. This despite a phone call where we agreed on the specifics of this. I was reluctant to deal with a catalog company for this siize purchase and now I know I was right. The product is fine but they have the worst customer service I have ever seen, They never get back to you. I will never purchase from them again. I would hate to see what will happen if there was a problem. Deal with a local furniture store.

Poor qualityI bought this chair and ottoman 4 -5 years ago. Great looking chair and the fabric I choose was beautiful (white with tan stripe linen). unfortunately, it’s not made very well. The cushions are lopsided and loose on both the chair and ottoman. The fabric has already worn through on the arm and I have a large hole in it.
I’ve always liked Ballard’s styles, but sadly, doubt I will ever purchase furniture through them again. Too expensive for such poor quality construction.
