After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:

The LBD of design - The Essential Skirted Table!I look at the pair of essential skirted tables on either side of my bed and cannot believe how good they look. I mean it. I have been shopping for bedside tables for LITERALLY 2 years! I couldn't bring myself to buy cheap, fake wood anything and the other skirted tables I found were $800+ and I just can't afford that. And the fact that I can buy additional skirts that I know will fit perfectly from Ballard should I decide to change things up is just the icing on the cake. I have a couple of friends who are interior designers here in Houston who were amazed at the quality and the value. PLEASE don't ever stop making these!

Side TableIt is a nice solid piece, but a bit overpriced for the material that is used, in my opinion. And the skirt will not lay as nicely at the bottom if you have carpet. Other than that, it's great!

Skirted TableLove my skirted table. It was exactly what I was looking for and is perfect in my living room. The table is sturdy and the glass top is thick and adds the perfect finish. My only suggestion is that you should definitely ask for a swatch of the fabric you are considering. I ordered the off white but it was more yellow and didn’t work in my space and so made my own tablecloth.

Versatile/stylish table skirtthis table skirt is just what I was looking for, it looks great by itself but its neutral color will make layering another fabric over it so easy. The only thing I would mention is the fact that the fabric had an intense almost petroleum smell to it. I had to set it outside for a few days to air it out before bringing it back inside.

Essential Skirted Table setThe table is pretty sturdy and the glass is hefty. I ordered the quilted white tablecloth expecting it to be "quilted"....it's thinner than I'd like but it'll do. It washed and ironed nicely prior to putting it on the table.

Great sturdy table but the burlap skirt off gassesGreat quality materials and construction. Very sturdy for this type of table. The fringed burlap skirt was the perfect length but I did need to use my garment steamer to get the wrinkles out.
I only had one concern. The burlap skirt had a very strong off gassing smell like a new mattress does. It took about a month to fade out. I just kept the table in a seldom used room until I could live with the smell. This could be an issue for those with sensitivities.
I just love this table now and I’m very glad I didn’t return it because of the off gassing.

Not 100% satisfiedThe table, glass topper and table cloth are just right in the space I had for them. I ordered the burlap table cloth, and let me tell you, it stunk to high heaven from the preservative that was applied to it in China where it is made. It not only stunk, but gave me a headache from the chemicals. First, I hung it outside for a week! still too stinky. Then, I had the dry cleaner give it a go. Still too stinky and chemical smelling. Then I hung it in the garage for another week. Then finally brought it indoors. It still has a chemical smell, but much less intense.
Ballard, ask your Chinese partners to stop using the chemical they put on this fabric. Please take responsibility for this.
I have purchased four pieces of upholstered furniture from Ballard this year, as well as the Essential Side Table. I have to say that I am very disappointed by Customer Service. You need to up your game.

Cute but flimsyI’ve been wanting this skirted table for years and finally pulled the trigger. I was surprised at how flimsy it is. It takes about 2 minutes to slip all the pieces together, but they do not fasten to one another, which makes for a table that is very wobbly and easy to knock over. It is very lightweight so it feels kind of cheap. I have two sons under the age of two and this table moves and wobbles if they even so much as peer over the edge. It’s pretty, but I do not recommend if you have young kids.

Essential side tableThe new version of this table is incredibly disappointing. The base is extremely shoddy and doesn’t assemble properly. Once assembled the table is not stable. However with the skirt and glass top they look fine. My older tables from Ballard were solid and better made.

Very disappointedThe good news, it had been on back order and I received it early so I was excited to get it. as other reviewer‘s noted it was a bit difficult to put together there was a small hole on the leg for the screw but not on the table top itself so I also had to take a nail to make a hole in order to attach the brackets. The table is not that sturdy even though it’s heavy particleboard it does wobble it would be nice to just sit with a lamp and a book on it. Unfortunately for me the particleboard irritated my sinuses and lungs I thought I might have an asthma attack. Probably most people it wouldn’t bother. The tablecloth itself was huge I got the off-white it’s more of a buttery pale yellow or a deeper ivory color. The glass top seems to be sturdy. I ended up throwing the table in the trash had to get it out of the house, don’t know what I will do with the cloth and glass top hope to find something. I have ordered many many items from Ballard and I have found them to be good quality so this was disappointing. A table base made of any cheap plastic or metal would be much better than particleboard.

Frustrating to Put TogetherI received the Essential Skirted table in two shipments ( wasn't told there would be two shipments). When both finally arrived I went to put it together and it was too difficult for me so I needed to ask my husband. We first started with a regular screwdriver and then had to use a drill with a screwdriver bit. Directions are very vague and do not say you need a power tool which many people do not have. It should have pilot holes already in position instead of me trying to drill through and match up. I like the table but it wasn't cheap and the description and directions are very misleading. It was very difficult and took a lot longer than I would have thought to put together. Once it was put together its nice but between the cost and assembly the description is very misleading. That's why I can't give it more than 2 stars.

Not color picturedI ordered the natural linen tablecloth for my side table as it appeared to have a light sage green tint based on the picture, but it is a strange color that I will be returning. Not green or light sage at all.
