If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries


  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful, BUT We love the look of these double brass rods, but I would NOT recommend purchasing. The brackets are not strong enough to maintain the rod positions, even with light weight curtains and sheers. Several people mentioned this issue, but I overlooked the comments. The front rod now dips below the back rod by more than an inch. I should note that they are only six months old. Not a good look.I contacted Ballard and was offered an exchange or a gift certificate for return. Three rod sets plus the required rings - would they really give me credit for all? It is time for these rods to leave the inventory line up OR provide a better engineered bracket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Different shades of brass I ordered this and do believe it's great quality, but some parts were the beautiful brass I was expecting and some were tarnished, yellow, and dark. You could buy it in store if you are near one to avoid this issue. When I contacted Ballard, they told me I would have to ship them back & pay for the costs myself if I wanted to return them. It's my first purchase at Ballard so just going to go back to my normal store that has great customer service!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Brackets are not strong enough I have had these on several windows for over a year. I purchased them with the Rosselli panels and the natural sheers. At first every thing was beautiful. Installation was a breeze. Over time the rod starts to droop. We have no children at home to pull at them. My husband doesn’t touch them. The weight of the panels and the rings is too much for the brackets. I tried to straighten one and the bracket broke in my hand. I called Ballard and they graciously sent me another set. This morning a second bracket broke in my hand. A double rod with lined panels hanging on it needs needs a good bracket. This is not strong enough to hold up over time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to hang and too far from window I regret buying these. They hang the curtains 3 inches away from the wall, leaving huge gaps for light around the curtains. And the furthest curtain is 7 inches off the wall! It eats up a ton of space. Plus I'm concerned about the long term stability, from what others have shared. Would not recommend. I think I need to find different ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from difficult These rods are so difficult. because the acrylic does not expand and is a solid piece, the hardware included should have been open. Since it is closed, you have to go through all kids of bs to install. It would have been easier if the hardware was open on top so you could simply place the rod on top of the hardware instead of the difficult install.
