You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, charming fixture! The Delaney pendant has a few craftsmanship-quality issues, however, the imperfections seem minor in comparison to the joy this fixture brings! It's absolutely beautiful once hung, and perfect in our entry. I believe the item is handmade and it's so charming! Our favorite fixture in the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Light! Overall I am very happy with this fixture, which I hung in my stairway. It is sturdy, beautiful, and doesn't compete with my large foyer chandelier. Unfortunately the previous reviews are correct about the poor quality of the candle bases. For such a well made fixture I am surprised that they are not better quality. They are made of cardboard and when you peel off the stickers, the color comes off along with it. I tried to find plastic replacements but didn't have time for ordering/shipping. I would have given this light 5 stars otherwise. Another reviewer mentioned that the glass never looks clean but I was able to get it nearly perfect with a very soft cloth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect This lantern looks great by our foyer stairs. Two things I don't like: 1) the glass never looks clean no matter how much I wipe it. Especially when the lights are on (which of course you don't notice until after the light is hooked up.) 2) there are stickers on the candle bases. I removed one and it took the paint off of the base. It's noticeable so now I have to find some paint to touch it up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looking but lacking in quality I ordered three of these to hang down my front hallway. They are perfect for my space and look great with the chandeliers in adjacent rooms. The problem is that they are not well made. I have ordered many things from Ballard and these are not the high quality that I have come to expect. One arrived with the metal hook that attaches the lights to the frame broken off. The broken piece was not in the package so I am assuming it was packaged that way. I returned the fixture to Ballard but it was on back order. Rather than ship back all 3 fixtures I decided to wait. Three months later I am still waiting and just checked the website to find out that the ship date has been pushed back for another 2 months. I have not been contacted by customer service. Since I had the other 2 fixtures installed I have my fingers crossed. In addition, I had the same problem that another reviewer had. The "candles" are made of cardboard and when I peeled off the stickers the paint came off. I ended up spray painting them with an almond color and they look fine. All that being said, once they are hung they look lovely and are perfect in my space. That is the reason I recommended them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful pendant, horrible "candle sleeves" The pendant is as beautiful as it appears in the photos - with one large exception: the little "candle sleeves" acting as the candlesticks are cheaply colored cardboard tubes that arrive with giant shiny silver stickers on them. When you try to remove the stickers, the cardboard peels away. With a discolored "gash" on each candlestick, unless you place the lamp very high on the ceiling, this effectively ruins the lamp.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cheap candle bases ruin the elegance I purchased 3 of these pendants for my kitchen and love them! however, I was very disappointed in the candle bases. They all came with huge stickers on them, except the one extra in the box and when the stickers are peeled off, it removes the coating from the cardboard and looks terrible and cheap
