After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:

Proof of insurance requirements
Multiple flights of stairs
Service elevator restrictions
Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.

Nice set of chairsThe chairs came well packaged and there was no damage. They are lightweight yet sturdy. I've only had them a few weeks, but I plan on getting cushions made so the seat lasts longer. They are the perfect fit for a female, for a larger male they might feel small. I purchased the black and there is very light distressing.

WELL MADE, and well packed and shipped!As the title reveals, this chair is very well made. It's a nice, weighty chair/not flimsy. All wood, other than the cane seating. I like the exposed metal -- it complements the somewhat rustic style. It's comfortable. I'm 5'2", so all chair seats are little high for me, and this one is too, but, I still love it. In person, it looks exactly like the picture. Ballard Designs was very forthcoming with shipping emails and alerts. The chair was made in China. It was very well packed for shipment. I purchased 6, and all arrived in good shape. There was a great deal of plastic waste that could be bagged and recycled at a grocery store, but, I would have preferred more earth-friendly packaging.

Good value but not what they used to beI love these chairs and already owned 4, but they’ve clearly changed sourcing (not unexpected but unfortunate). At first glance they look the same, but proportions/details all around are slightly off, the paint finish is different, and the weight of the chair is much lighter. Still a great set of chairs for the price, but sad to see quality decline after a few years.

Tip over very easily!A few days ago, we set up our new Villa table with 6 Constance Chairs, and added 3 Constance Counter Stools to our kitchen island. The chairs are beautiful, but they are not suitable for children, and unfortunately we have three small children. My almost 5-year-old sat in the chair and within minutes, the chair tipped over and she fell to the floor. This has now happened three times in the three days that the table/chairs have been set up. So very dangerous, as well as disappointing. On top of that, the weaving on the seat is already broken on 4 of the chairs/counter stools. The chairs/counter stools are not durable and will not hold up for the long term. I'm definitely regretting this purchase. We expected a higher quality from Ballard Designs.
