The expanse of the lower edge is large enough to shed a nice amount of light for reading, while at the same time provides a warm lighting effect for the room.

I’ve really been enjoying the comical design and haven’t been able to find a rattan/wicker version of just the shade—everything has come with a lamp! So was so grateful to find this. I do kind of wish there was a point at the top like some designs, but it looks great and was easy to add to my lamp! V happy!
