After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.

Claudette HeadboardI purchased the white headboard in king size. It is just gorgeous! The legs are the perfect height so my mattress is not covering the bottom of the headboard. I also dressed up the bird to match my decor. I used a chenille bedspread, shams and an exquisite bed scarf, all of which I embelished with pearls.

Order to Delivery, I couldn't be more pleased!I have wanted this headboard for YEARS and when I saw it in the Summer 2022 catalogue in black I just knew it was time to go for it! And I'm so glad I did! We have a Sleep Number bed which has a weird bracket for attaching to a headboard so we decided it'd be easier to just attach the headboard it to the wall. This will also help the curtains I have on order to hang well behind the headboard. My husband is a gem! He built a box from plywood and screwed it into 2 of the wall studs. Then he screwed the headboard to that box. Its perfect! I'm so glad I got the inside delivery as well. They opened the box in my driveway, brought the headboard inside to my bedroom and placed it against the box ready for us to install. Then carted away the huge amount of cardboard and packing material. Well worth the extra cost!

Stunning headboardBeautiful headboard. I have been looking at this headboard for several years. Decided to order for my granny suite. Just love it. Very heavy, so decided not to worry about attaching to platform frame. Works fine just pushed up against the wall. Ordered the wood tone and it goes with my farm house look perfectly.

Adorable headboardThis headboard is so well made, and just absolutely adorable! I struggled to find a bed frame that would fit the headboard, since the holes on the headboard to attach to the frame are a little high. For those having the same issue, I bought a bed frame that has a 7.5” underbed clearance. The frame I bought is called the “Higgins 8” expandable steel bed frame”. It is perfect! I love the way this headboard looks!!

Rustic charm - with or without birdLove the unique shape and the whitewashed color. I chose to use mine sans the bird. It has what I would describe as a “rustic” finish which doesn’t diminish its charm. This is a very sturdy headboard with a lot of reinforcement behind its facade. It weighs a ton and is delivered on a pallet in a very large box. I had trouble lining up the mounting holes with my bed frame, but switched out the bolts (after a visit to the hardware store) with a thinner diameter bolt and it worked.

Very happy with my head board! But…I absolutely love this headboard and have gotten many compliments on how different and beautiful it is. I couldn’t decide on the wood color or white. My wall is a darker color so I went with the white. The shape and bird stand out very nicely. Now the ‘but’ part. I have a regular sized bed and the headboard comes in queen size. I called Ballard Design and asked if a regular bed would be ok. They were very helpful and nice. Told me about a part I could get to make the bed fit. They do not sell the part but told me where to buy it. I bought my part and had it ready when the headboard was delivered. I got the white glove service and was happy I did, this is a heavy piece of furniture! The screws that come with the bed are very thick. I had a heck of a time getting it to work. This was not Ballards fault and in no way takes away from the beautiful headboard. Just saying, make sure bed frame has a large opening to compensate for the thick screws.

Pretty headboard!Very nice headboard. I cant believe how heavy it is. Packaged very well. I bought the white queen. Have the brown one in a twin. Had to drill a few extra holes as the frame was not high enough to store anything under it.
