Rated 5 out of 5 by wee grandma from Pleased with this purchase I have considered this Ceylon Whitewash group for some time, and despite some noted complaints by others, find the quality to be excellent, and entirely appropriate for my purposes for use in an enclosed sun porch adjacent to my living room. Ballard's quality and design are, as always, classic and way above the rest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MCyd from Better than expected! This couch and chairs for outdoor patios is so beautiful that I ended up putting it in my family room. The packaging was incredible too. Every single piece, including the styrofoam, was wrapped. This set is amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Doodlemom from Wonderful porch sofa I was impressed with the shipping packaging - the sofa arrived in perfect condition. I've assembled furniture in the past, but this assembly was by far the easiest. The predrilled holes were perfectly aligned - I've never experienced that! The instructions stated two man assembly was required, but I was able to do this by myself (btw I am a woman). The sofa is perfect for my porch - size and finish. Overall an excellent product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by CorgiMum from Cushion color not as stated I ordered the whitewash Ceylon sofa, 2lounge chairs and ottoman as well as the coffee table. I am very pleased with the furniture quality, packing and ease of assembly. Unfortunately, by no stretch of the imagination are the cushions "sand" as stated. There was so much ivory in the room I decided to order 3 sets of the spa and sand stripe replacement cushions to alternate with the originals. Don't try this as the replacements are truly sand and do not match the originals at all because they aren't sand. I would be a lot happier with my selection if the cushions were truly sand because my room already has a lot of white in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PorchSitter from Ceylon Whitewash Sofa We order two sofas and the coffee table which arrived in a timely manner with fabulous packaging. Products were easy to assemble and the wood finish is great. However, the cushions are white, not sand colored. If there had been an option to upgrade the cushions we would definitely have done so. That is the only reason this is rated 4 stars, rather than 5.

However the cushion covers developed mildew even though the sofa is located in a covered screened porch and away from any direct weather. Used different methods and products to remove the discolorations but nothing worked. Also caution shoppers to pay attention to the seat height measurement which is lower than most standard seating. Unfortunately, the cushions flatten easily, which contributes to the overall seat height as well. Replacement cushions are expensive, so I will have to accept this as is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Julie12 from Cute but think about cushions I love the style of this furniture and was very happy with my purchases my first summer when I was conscientious about covering the furniture every night. The second summer I relaxed, and the cushions quickly developed mold and other dirt stains that would not come out no matter what I tried (I had used Scotchgard on them before using). Professional cleaners said they couldn't help either. So either be prepared to cover these up, pay the additional for good cushions, or avoid altogether.
