Such a pretty outdoor table
I bought the whitewashed one several years ago. Keep it on a covered porch and cover it with a tarp in winter. It’s a good weight, both table and chairs. It elevates the patio and porch areas. You can use a pad but it’s pretty enough without. Has a hole for an umbrella. Does not extend. I recommend using a table cloth if eating messy foods. Given the cost of things I 100% recommend it at this sale price

Beautiful, Classic Table
We've enjoyed this table tremendously. It is a great quality with a beautiful whitewash treatment. The proportions are nice as well, with adequate room between place settings while still feeling intimate. Highly recommend.

Great Style and Quality!
The style and quality of this set is perfect. I love the comfort of the large seats and comfy cushions. Assembly was a bear and took me a solid 12 hours.

amazingly beautiful and sturdy and worth every cent
I watched this outdoor dining set until a 20% off sale event . It is perfect for our outdoor covered deck that is more like a room than a deck. This dining set looks perfect in a "upscale" outdoor setting. The packing was unbelivable-every piece was meticulously wrapped in foam and plastic. It took longer to unwrap it from the packing materials than it did to put it together! My husband is not easily impressed and wasn't thinking we needed a new set but he agrees this new set was the finishing touch to our outside paradise. The shipping and handling was $200 but our set arrived without a scratch and was packed with great care. The delivery people were very courteous and quickly in and out. I was very impressed with the entire purchase. The set was backordered when I ordered it but it was worth waiting for. The cushions are thick and comfy but not the greatest color with the whitewashed finish-I will be slipcovering them in another fabric to match the outdoor color scheme but they were bonuses and are okay for now.

This set is perfect for indoor use too!
I had been looking for a dining room set that was both lovely and affordable. So far no one notices that this set is for outdoor use. I had to do a little light sanding to remove some splinters and would have preferred a choice of color for the cushions. But I love my set.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I fell for the Ceylon Whitewash Dining Set the minute I saw it in the catalog --- It arrived in no time and better yet, was assembled with minimal effort (My husband's minimal effort, not mine). I took the time to varnish it as a precaution because it will sit outside (in FLA, on the water) and I wanted that beautiful finish to last! It's beautiful, comfortable, sturdy and looks far, far more expensive than what I imagined. LOVE it!

This set is GREAT!
We now have this set in our sun/breakfast room and it is EXACTLY as described - if you know anything about wood and finishes. The white wash is exactly what it's supposed to be - a "wash" of color. Not opaque. The eucalyptus is exactly what you should expect - it has a color to it resembling terra-cotta. We all (4 in our family) LOVE this set and have found it to be comfortable,substantial - and the option of cushions is also beyond anything you could expect from any other catalog supplier. Thanks BD for another great product! You never disappoint!
