We keep them covered during the winter, but in the spring and summer in Seattle we have plenty of showers, so it has gotten wet many times. It holds up beautifully. I was worried the curved arm would split but we haven't seen any degradation in the surface. The depth is shallow, so they are a great choice for limited space, but not if you want that sink back in lounging.

After many restful naps on this beautiful sofa, I can highly recommend it. For napping, I remove and stack the back cushions for a leg rest. The teak wood is simply gorgeous and I am undecided if I should oil it or leave it as is. Since it lives along a protected wall, weather damage is unlikely. The pieces are sturdy, but the supplied allen wrench is undersized for the larger connecting screws. Spare yourself agony during assembly and have a handled allen wrench or a power tool with the right size wrench available. Assembled, it is very solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NoCal from Quality I shopped everywhere for a deep-seated sofa and this was the only one that appeared to be what I was looking for. It arrived in amazingly secure packaging, and I was able to assemble it by myself. Be aware that the wood is not what I think of as teak colored--it's more a blond with brown streaks through it, but that works for my design. I would think teak oil would darken it if that's an issue. The seat cushions are firm, but again, that's my preference. I'm very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MargaretSeattle from nice enough to use in the house! The website dose not do this sofa justice. Well made, very well packed and easy to put together. Will sit 3 normal sized people comfortably. We did not use the back cushions as they cover the gorgeous woodwork on the back of the couch. We bought a few lumbar cushions in accent colors and they work great. we put a couple coatings of teak oil and uv protection on it before dressing with the cushions and it simply glows! Beautiful piece that I can easily see bringing inside when extra seating is needed. We will be buying additional pieces in this collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nita from California from Teak outdoor furniture I love the design of the Teak sofa set I purchased however, since I spent over $3,000 for my outdoor furniture set, I wish, I was able to pick the fabric of my furniture. Already, there is dust and residue on the very white fabric. With this amount of money, a customer should be able to pick the color of fabric according to their needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MBBB from Sofa looks great Sofa is a good value for the price. I like the way it looks - pleased with the teak. Only two things I would have liked different - the cushions are a very light color - will soil very easily. Also - not as soft as I would have liked!
