Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece but tough delivery/set up. I waited a long time for this piece. It is truly lovely and worthwhile. I ordered it in the distressed glazed sage and it is a muted soft green without being too overwhelmingly distressed....just as I had hoped. The problem was the delivery. I wish that white glove and installation was offered. I would have paid extra as the movers scratched the top molding on my driveway. The piece is heavy and substantial so set up required hiring two people. It is important to note that the center brackets do not get screws. Despite my problems, Ballard customer service was incredible, prompt, courteous and caring. They did all they could to assure my happiness and because of that, I would order from them again in a heartbeat! I can recommend this piece highly and can state that Ballard stands behind their products. Something that is rare in these times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful hutch I had been looking for a hutch for our dining room for years and fell in love with this piece and the ability to choose customs colors. I knew I wouldn't be able to find a matching hutch for our dining room, which was ok, but has not been able to find a style or color to coordinate with it until I found this piece. We have a dark rustic table from pottery barn with light suede chairs. Our style is definitely more rustic/tuscan and thought the weathered chianti color would give the room a pop of color that it needs, and I was right!! It is a quality piece of furniture that is both beautiful and functional. The only mistake I made was not realizing that I needed to choose and pay for having them set-up the hutch. With regular delivery they literally just drop the LARGE boxes off and leave. It's a monster to have to unpack (it's packaged well), move and put together. Would recommend the extra white glove service. Overall, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this piece and will definitely be purchasing other pieces from this collection in the future.

I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived, with all the keys (and some extra), all the hardware for connecting the top to the bottom, and everything in wonderful working order. I love the latch top locks and turn key locks on all the cabinets. I love that I can adjust all the shelves to wear I want. I bought the fog gray, and the color matched so perfectly to my table that I had recently purchased from Arhaus that you would think it was the same collection. I highly recommend Ballard Designs. I have also purchased rugs and other pieces and never once had an issue! If they carried nursery furniture, they would have made thousands more off of me as I just purchased a full nursery for my grand-child.

This piece looks exceptional and I would buy it in a minute. However, thousands are down sizing and dining spaces are much smaller. So sorry the side components are not available as separate cabinets -- I would love to buy two which would be perfect for my new smaller dining space. WOULD YOU CONSIDER IN THE NEAR FUTURE OFFERING THE SIDE COMPONENTS AS SEPARATE PIECES? Thanks. Margaret Ray, Blacksburg, Virginia

I chose the walnut finish to match an inherited existing piece and it matches perfectly. Not too dark. My old breakfront was wider, but this one is taller, which fits the space in my new home perfectly. I like that all the cabinet doors can lock, so little fingers can't explore. The drawers come in very handy for tablecloths and small items I want to reach quickly.

I bought the off-white over gray & the sample was accurate, however the finish is only on the outside of the piece - the inside & shelving was just flat white. Still looked good, but good to know - esp if your color is not white of any kind. It is the ONLY new hutch/console I could find that had enough space to fit normally large serving pieces and still be able to close the cabinet doors (so measure before you consider buying others!). Drawers are big and heavy in a good way & display cabinet (doors are not as heavy) also has ample storage. Love the locks and the fact that I have all options to hide things, display things, and linen storage for drawers. Be aware that due to adjustable shelves, holes are visible from side of unit for display area in center. Wish list for this piece would be 1) slightly heavier door wood, 2) optional lights on the top for display. Very satisfied with this purchase.
