You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.

  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

My only negative is I wish the drop down writing drawer came with a knob, because you need to have the key inserted to get the desk top down. Otherwise it's beautiful, and looks very expensive.

It’s worth the wait (ordered in August, just received in February). The wash/finish I ordered was called white with spa underneath, which the box called gustavian finish (very Swedish looking). Gotta start finding a reason to get another in navy blue now.

It comes with working old fashioned keys to keep small children out of upper and lower units. I love the powder blue color. I can sit at the desk and write a letter to a friend. It’s adorable and arrived ahead of schedule so had it a few days before Christmas. We love Ballard!

Living in southwest Florida i have access to numerous high-end furniture stores. Unfortunately, no one had a piece that was small enough to work for me. In fact, when I gave the measurements to a sales lady she told me, "What you're looking for doesn't exist." Then I came across this piece from Casa Florentina. It is quite small, but it fit perfectly. They unpacked it for me and brought it into the house. I was immediately in love with the piece! Plus, it's nice being able to tell people that it was handmade and painted exclusively for me. Even the drawers are lined with matching paper. I ordered mine in Mineral green. My house style is open concept and my furnishings and accessories are transitional and it goes perfectly. The color calls attention to itself as an accent piece, yet the shade is such that it can still be considered a neutral. It arrived with absolutely no damage (I was worried about that as it was coming from so far). I keep both the keys in mine as I think it adds to the charm. I will say that for such a small piece of furniture it has a lot of storage. There are 3 big drawers on the bottom, 2 little drawers inside the desk, and 1 large cubby hole. Assembly is minimal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely piece, outstanding quality Desk and hutch arrived in separate pieces, but my husband was able to attach them quickly with the instructions and a power drill (though there weren’t pre-drilled holes, etc. it was up to us to decide where to place it and just ‘trust’ that our measurements were centered up). I bought the lovely soft robins egg blue/turquoise color, and it is absolutely stunning! This piece looks like it can become an instant heirloom for our family.
