We didn't install the detachable molding on the side as our space didn't warrant it. We had an issue with a one of our shelves. Ballard replaced it. Happy with our purchase and the blue goes nicely with our decor.

It holds a good amount of books, and the added drawer and cupboard at the bottom are great for extra storage. The bookcase required minimal assembly--just the crown molding and baseboard on the sides. It's a lovely piece of furniture. Seems well made, and I love that it's made in Italy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Huntcu from Skip these! I’m not sure where to start. Drawers don’t properly close. Have to use two hands to shut them and open them. Not much storage at all. We got three to make a long bookshelf. Even the cabinets do not close correctly. We should have done custom cabinets at this price.
