If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Oversized Handling Fee - $20-$40 per item

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for kitchens I used this piece in my custom kitchen to display my serving dishes. It saved me a ton over a built- in option and I love the way it looks. I got the last of a discontinued color, but sample match was spot on. There was a discrepancy in what I received and what was pictured, which was upsetting, but when I turned in pictures I was given a substantial discount (baseboard did not return the whole 17" depth, but only 4 inches or so to accommodate a side piece that was perhaps once part of this collection). In any case. I love love love this piece. The bottom cupboard does not accommodate much storage as its only 17" deep. But my casserole dishes still fit If I angle them 45 degrees. I love the 'less is more' approach to distressing and overall the quality and presence of this piece is better than pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed for my space Solid, sturdy and beautiful. This item is well made of wood. It was delivered in a timely manner and set up quickly. It is all one piece, so measure your space carefully, keeping the height of your ceiling in mind. The delivery men did not take my suggestion when bringing it into the room for placement and ended up having to take it back out and do it my way. They were very nice about it though and admitted my idea was better!

Love the openings in the back for cords. This was my first purchase from Ballard and I was really happy with the quality-will definitely get more from this collection

The details are very rich - hand-marbled Italian paper in the drawers, soft close drawers, and ample shelving. The fit and finish truly makes it feel Old World. It has become the center piece of the room.
