Rated 5 out of 5 by DC Mom of 4 from Beautiful buffet I spent a long time searching for a new buffet table that would suit all my needs and I kept coming back to this piece, so finally we just ordered it, despite its being a bit more than we wanted to spend. We’ve had it for a few months now and I’m still in love with its elegant style and quality craftsmanship. The storage space is fantastic, although it would be nice if the interior shelves were adjustable. The stately lines, distinctive hardware and slim profile for such a large piece continue to catch my eye every day. We chose the distressed fog gray and I was a little concerned that the distressing would be too much, but it’s rather subtle. Delivery was smooth and professional. My only constructive criticism might be the locking mechanism for the doors - unless the key is locked, they don’t stay closed, which would be annoying for something that gets frequent use. We’ve been keeping the keys in the lock for ease and that hasn’t been an issue yet. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the purchase so far (we’ll see how it stands up to 4 children and the test of time!) and we’re considering getting the complimentary table from the same line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gale P from Very elegant This sideboard is the perfect addition to my dining room. The mahogany color is just as pictured and the construction is solid. The doors lock, but do not otherwise latch shut. Mine stay closed even if unlocked, but our dining room is a low-traffic area so there isn’t much to jostle them open. The proportions are lovely and it isn’t too deep, so if should fit nicely even in smaller dining rooms. Very pleased.

The antique mahogany finish complements our Tarvine custom table perfectly, and the workmanship for the price of this piece is unmatched. I love that the cabinets lock; that was a huge selling point for me with a toddler. The four drawers come lined with beautiful paper and have a soft-close feature. As a bonus, the anti-tip kit that comes with this piece is SO easy to install, I did it in about 15 minutes by myself, with said toddler hovering. The anti-tip kit is actually the simplest and most discrete method I have encountered yet, and I’m going to be reaching out to Ballard about buying more kits from them to use on items around my house (hand-me-downs and antiques) that don’t have them! I love this piece, it is classic, will never go out of style, and I plan to have it for the rest of my life AND pass it down to future generations. I absolutely love it.
