You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

My only complaint is the shinny, high gloss finish on the walnut stain. I have found myself wishing it was more of a matte finish. The painted samples I received had a matte finish… would have preferred this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece—but doors require a key! Beautiful piece! I ordered the distressed coral.l color. I was hoping it might come out a little darker/richer tone, but it is a more springy/dusty salmon tone—still very lovely. The piece has quality construction and distressed finish—joints all align nicely. My one beef (and it is significant from a function standpoint) is that the cupboard doors can only be opened and closed using a key. If you don’t lock it with the key, there is no natural magnet or hinge closure that will keep the door in place – it just hangs open!! My husband and I were shocked a modern day piece of furniture would be built that way?? I find it to be a major pain to have to get a key out every stinking time I want to use the cupboard. I am going to look into what I can do retroactively with some sort of magnet, but it’s going to be tricky because there is very little overlap between the cupboard and the frame of the piece. The upper drawers have nice smooth soft-close mechanisms. So Ballard, fix the cupboard door mechanisms and you’ll have a winner.

There is literally no way I can do this alone, or even with one other friend,as it weighs 210 pounds. I still haven’t got the legs on.
