We want you to be happy. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or refund (excluding Shipping & Processing fees). All products are guaranteed from defects for a full year.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Fees

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • Items are unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage, or covered area of your choice.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

I had it covered in the sunbrella Idol Seagull fabric which is a light neutral beige. It’s so beautiful in person!! I hope to buy 4 more for our living room because I love the look so much!! So please keep the idol seagull fabric in stock!! It’s gorgeous!! It’s not an oversized chair which can take up too much space in rooms, but it’s a nice size for my husband to sit when needed and he is 6ft. The fabric is so beautiful and well made. I haven’t tested the stain resistant quality but I’m sure with 4 kids it will happen eventually.

It is comfortable and the workmanship is high caliber. Attention was paid to the layout of the fabric. The chair is on smaller scale which is exactly what I needed for my townhouse. I am totally satisfied, and will order more products from Ballard with confidence.

Ballard was the only place that I could find the fabric that I wanted, so I went for it! The chairs arrived last week, very well packaged. We opened them and are thrilled! They are just beautiful and very comfy. Now, I've just got to get to the point that I'll let someone sit on them! Thank you Ballard, they're amazing!

They are comfortable, the perfect size, very sturdy/well made, and the upholstery is gorgeous---both the fabric (we had them made up in the Sand Pallini) and the upholstery workmanship. We put these in front of our bedroom window together with the Candace ottomans which are on casters that can be moved from the end of the bed to the chairs as ottomans. What a stunning set! :-)
