If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

If you don't absolutely love your new slipcovered seating or upholstered seating for any reason, return it within 10 days of delivery absolutely free – we'll even pay the return shipping. It's that simple. We guarantee it. Now doesn't that make you happy?

We want you to be happy. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or refund (excluding Shipping & Processing fees). All products are guaranteed from defects for a full year.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Fees

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

Truck Delivery

Generally available for delivery 2-3 weeks after shipping.

  • Items are unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage, or covered area of your choice.
  • If the home is a multi-dwelling building, the items will be delivered inside the residence.
  • Assembly not included.

In-Home Truck Delivery

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

The chairs are well built - they are light and minimal in appearance like nicer café chairs, yet not lightweight - sturdy and durable. The edges are thin and can sometimes jab as I pass by them, but that was more of a lesson to learn than an annoyance. Folding is easy and convenient.

The chairs are actually comfortable and I've had 2 back surgeries. I still have a set of four & a round table that I purchased in 2003 & they look great! Don't settle for a less expensive substitute. These are made to last.

They are easily moved around inside or out, and don't deteriorate outdoors. I've had my original set outside on a covered porch for more than 10 years ,and they still look great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice until it rains. These chairs are cute and I’ve owned a couple sets. The first set, the bolts in the side rusted away and the chairs collapsed. The second set (black) was nice until it rained. Then the seating surface became permanently stained whitish. BD replaced them once but the replacements did the same thing so I gave up and kept them. They don’t look very nice in the first year.
