Rated 4 out of 5 by Garnet from Nice updated but not too modern piece I have two of these, selected to flank another piece along a wall. The shape and color of these items are lovely, but not as golden as it seems in the photo; it's more of a walnut-y tone. The veneer is well-done but also feels a bit like Formica when I run my hand along the top, which gives me old fears of it cracking or breaking off easily. This has push-latch doors and one button doesn't work on one of the sideboards unless I use my finger to push it in/pop it out, but otherwise the door works fine. The one shelf in each doored area is not adjustable (very middle location) but you can remove it if you want a larger space in the two-door area. I was able to see it in a local store before I ordered them, so that was helpful for actual measurements. I've gotten a few compliments on them from visitors, too.
