Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was so excited to invest in some nice, engraved flatware that I had hoped could be passed down at some point that I waited for 6+months for it to arrive (this was 2+ years ago). I had so many issues.....AND it arrived without engraving. They did remedy that but it extended the wait even more. I read all the care instruction and have been meticulous with it but it is still continuing to discolor/stain for no reason that I can decipher. I assume within another year or so, both sets will not be worth handing down. Also, soup spoons are ENORMOUS and for that reason, are never used.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed with quality I received 8 place settings today of the antique silver finish. The pieces were inconsistent in size as some forks are longer than others. A reviewer previously noted how she enjoys the “swirl” detail where the handle meets the upper piece but mine clearly do not have a swirl as seen in the photo. The pieces are actually quite rough where they are joined. Also as seen in the photos many pieces had pitting or scratches. I was also very concerned and convinced these are NOT stainless steel as described in the overview description due to the excessive warnings on the care label, to dry immediately, not to use any chlorine dishwasher pods, etc. Stainless steel is “bulletproof” meaning durable as heck and can be washed without concern and will last a lifetime. For spending nearly 600.00 for service for 8 I expect superior quality and was honestly disappointed here. Even unpacking the pieces they gave the impression of cheap imports. With a designer endorsement I honestly expected more, a box, cloth pouch, something other than packing paper and plastic wrap. The pieces are weighty due to the brass but the finishing is shoddy at best. Forks also are very flat and not ergonomically comfortable. I have purchased many Ballard Designs pieces in the past and honestly have always been happy with the quality but not this time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A case of form over function I'm very disappointed with this flatware. I purchased it for everyday use, but it is tarnishing already and I am needing to wash and dry-and sometimes polish-the pieces immediately after use to keep it clean looking.I am all for a little patina and character...unless it's on something I'm putting into my mouth. Also, the tines are easily bent as I wash and polish them, trying to get the tarnish from between the tines. The tines on the large dinner forks are large and fairly blunt, making it hard to spear some foods. Fortunately the tines on the salad forks are smaller and more functional. I wish I could return the set as it was expensive, but I have been using them...they are pretty when they are polished.
