After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:

Service elevator restrictions

Better in person than picture!Solid, well made, color is perfect. Strong and sturdy but more important very good looking! Height is perfect. No matter the size of books or whether they are on edge or flat, they look great. Unless you have a couple people around I would encourage paying for the in-house set up (we did). No fuss no mess.

Gorgeous bookshelfI received my Belgian oak bookshelf and could not be more pleased. It's a very large piece but still airy. Looks very expensive and high quality. We did not order the white glove service in advance of delivery but as soon as the item came to our door we decided to call Ballards customer service to upgrade to white glove service, it took less than 5 minutes to address this and made the entire delivery experience very positive. I love Ballards!

My first large item Ballard purchaseI was concerned this would not be the quality that I wanted or assumed to get based on the price. I was not disappointed! It's a heavy, sturdy piece with a lovely dark wood stain and it really looks fabulous in my house. Remember the shelves are not adjustable. But it holds books and othe items so nicely. I put some fun items on the very top shelf and it really pops in the room. Deliver to my door was fine - although it was heavy for my husband and I to put inside - but I appreciate that it is well made.
I would recommend this book case!

Very expensive looking!So happy with my purchase. I was nervous about the color without seeing it in person first but it is perfect! It has many different tones of wood dark/light which pulls all my pieces together!! The piece is really solidly built and looks very expensive. The delivery men were amazing!!

This piece is beautiful!I received the bookcase on Dec. 13th just before hosting a large Christmas party on the 16th. It came all together we put it in the room and I started decorating, it is beautiful!

Handsome piece of furnitureShipment came in a huge box - no assembly required. Bookcase is large but doesn't overpower the room. Wood is very solid and the color is exactly as pictured. The shelf on either side of this double bookcase on each level is one long piece of wood and they are not adjustable. But there is plenty of clearance for picture frames, vases, candles, books, etc...we're so glad we took the leap and bought this bookcase without actually seeing it in person.

With a very quick response, shipping was refunded as well as 10% of purchase price. I found this acceptable, responsible, and pleasant. Thank you! This bookcase has solid lines and a casual beachy charm!I was so excited to receive the bookcase since the online photos do not always capture the color and detail of items. The belgian oak is so pretty and nicely distressed, but it is a bit darker that what I had expected based on the photos. Overall, the product seems well-made and sturdy. The size is just perfect for my living room and the open back gives a sense of being casual and not too stuffy. The only reason to take off a star...the top right corner was not mitered properly so the alignment is off a bit. Surely I may be the only one to notice, but attention to detail is important. Other than that..I love it!

DISAPPOINTING THAT THE TOP IS UNFINISHEDI purchased this bookcase for my 2-story family room. Therefore, the top is viewable from the upstairs. The top of the bookcase is unfinished. Specifically, there is no wooden top. What's there is the backside of the top shelf with pieces of wood attaching it to the crown moulding. Furthermore, this situation is made worse by these pieces, including the back of the crown moulding, not being stained/painted as the rest of the bookcase.
