If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Dome This dome is large! I knew the size, of course, but in the dining room, it covers the majority of our large dining room table. And I love it! I initially used three, 60 watt-equivalent amber, vintage-style bulbs, on a dimmer switch. That wattage is very low and emits a very soft, romantic glow which is nice sometimes... but not all the time. So, I changed this to three, 75-watt equivalent vintage light bulbs in soft white and it is MUCH better. I can dim the light if I want to, but also have a decent amount of light to do the morning crossword puzzle. The finish is gorgeous. Inside the globe it is a distressed warm gold and outside, a distressed darker bronze/gold. It took us some real maneuvering to get it installed--not due to the fault of the light itself. All lights are made for brand new houses and brand new electrical wiring; that becomes quite challenging for nearly 100-year-old homes. We had to get a few items at the electric hardware store in order to make this work with our ceiling and our wiring. If I have any complaint, it's that the interior isn't distressed all the way around. I can't decide if that is intentional or not, but I'm not going to worry about it. A photo will illustrate what I'm talking about.

I’ve been looking for a light for years now, and when I received this was shocked at how big 30” diameter is, but it’s perfect in the space. I haven’t seen any other dome lights with the color and texture of this one, and the reflection of the light is a wonderful, soft golden color. No problems hanging it, though we hired an electrician, but we did have to increase the chain length as we have 14 ft. ceilings.
