You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from benedetta table I'm so happy I purchased this table. For the price, its beautiful and well made. Its a bit bigger than I imagined, but it fits perfectly in my sun room. I was a bit hesitant from reading the reviews, but we had absolutely no trouble in assembling it. It took my husband about 10 minutes to put it together (without any automated tools). It was well packaged to ensure no damage in shipping. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Assembly/construction issues This piece looks lovely once put together, but they sure don't make furniture like they used to. (This is why I cherish my antiques.) I was GREATLY disappointed in the assembly process. I ordered two of these tables, and one arrived with the drilled holes for the dowels used to affix the top to the legs with the holes drilled on the WRONG side! GRRR... Therefore, I muscled it together under my own strength and the help of a power drill, but one of the two tables in now constructed without the strength of the dowels. I didn't return it as it's too expensive and who knows if the next table wouldn't have the same problem. GRRRR. Also, a wooden piece necessary to affix the top had two holes drilled (although directions showed only one hole) and the hardware included only ONE screw per bar. Fortunately, I had THREE (six total) extra screws on hand in my tool box, but was EXTREMELY frustrated by the shoddy product. I'm shocked by the quality of this product -- it makes me question Ballard Design's foreign suppliers. :( Finished product looks nice, but I worry the construction won't last for many years. It certainly doesn't constitute an heirloom. I cannot recommend this table...

Was excited to finally purchase this table, as we already have had the matching console table in our Great Room for several years...(and love the look and quality!) The table was delivered in a few days, but was cracked. The box it was packed in arrived in perfect condition, so this probably was the fault of the manufacturer or packer. Ballard promptly sent a replacement table. That one had gouges and very uneven coloring on the top! Customer Service apologized for the inconvenience, and promised to have the THIRD table inspected before being shipped out to us. It did arrive quickly, and the tabletop looks good, BUT, there is a 3" crack in the exact same location as the first table!! Fortunately, the crack did not go all the way through the wood. We decided to "doctor" it up with some wood crayons and keep it, since we've wanted this table for so long. We have purchased at least 10 items from Ballard for our home, dating as far back as 1998, and have never had any problems. Has it been luck, or is there no longer any quality control? By the way, the "tuscan brown" color of our side table is not what is depicted in the catalog, although our console table is. Perhaps the September 2014 production run is just not up to par!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing Although I love the look of this side table, it is poorly constructed. I thought for $200+, I was purchasing a quality table. Instead, I ended up with a very wobbly table that cannot be tightened. I am very disappointed.
