LOVE this buffet!I had been looking for over a year for a piece that was the right size, made well and would go with my electic mix of rustic and contemporary furnishings. I also needed something that would be great storage since I had recently downsized my home.
Once again, Ballard Designs did not disappoint me. It works great and looks great!
Only improvement I would suggest is adjustable shelves.

Just like it looks onlineI ordered this cabinet in black for my dining room and love it! It's a nice looking solid piece with good features such as drawers for extra storage and pull out panels to extend your surface space. The delivery service did a great job and I am happy with the experience.

beautiful functional piece!I bought this piece about a year ago. I would say it is one of my favorite purchases for my new house. It is so versatile and beautiful. We are currently using it as a side board in the kitchen. I love the glass windows with the x front, it looks like a piece from the french country side. We were very hesitant about buying it seeing all the reviews about the color being slightly different but it is true to the picture. Definite fav! If you are thinking about it go for it, you won't regret it.. great quality!

Higher quality than expectedI have been looking at this piece for over one year and glad we finally took the plunge. It is much heavier, sturdier and better looking than in the photo. We purchased Flemish Oak and although we really like the color it is a bit darker than in the pictures. My husband was impressed by the quality of the piece and I could tell he was surprised that it was of such a high quality as he had never ordered furniture online before. You will not be disappointed-- and I also got mine delivered within two weeks of placing my order, not months as others had mentioned.

Beautiful!I had to wait about 3 months for this...it was totally worth it! I am so pleased with the product. We are using it for our white china and it looks so nice in the cabinet. Just make sure you clean it before you put any dishes. There are no problems with it and I hope it last! As of now, it is great!

Exactly what I was looking forI just received this cabinet and I couldn't be happier. It's very substantial and the quality is top notch. I looked at more expensive comparable items at other stores and this is by far superior. My only complaint is the stickers were very hard to remove from the back of the cabinet. As this is situated behind my sofa, about 2" of the top of the rear of the piece is visible and the stickers were messy. Other than that, LOVE IT!

Great Quality--Shipping and ItemFirst of all--the company Ballard uses for shipping is FIRST RATE! Wow! Unboxed it and unwrapped it for us, and brought it into the house for us.
Next--The Cabinet looks great--it is the black model. It feels and looks like a fine piece of furniture. Totally satisfied with its quality and appearance.

Overall a great findThe cabinet is very nice looking and the size is just right for my space. The only thing I have to complain about is there are some color variences with the stain. The stain is lighter in some spots and appears to not have been rubbed on in an even manner, making it look a bit streaky/blotchy.

Great quality, very elegant!I bought this cabinet after years of looking for a solution that would work well under our big screen TV in our family room. My husband tweaked a few things (created a vented door on the back to keep electronics from over heating, and for easy access). We are very happy with the style and quality of the cabinet. Since adding it to our room, we have received several compliments on how it "finishes" the room.

This piece should cost a lot more!I saw this piece in person at the Ballard Outlet Store. I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship. I went home and measured and immediately ordered it for my center hall. Great look and great storge.

excellent qualityI find the reviews helpful, so I'm leaving feedback here. I ordered the cabinet in black, very lightly distressed. Works great with my mediterranean house. I placed it in an arched nook in our octagon foyer and it functions (beautifully) as a bar. I had a piece of glass cut for the top, and also had glass shelves made for the wood wood ones, and mirrors in the back to reflect the light. I added lights inside as well, and the results are fabulous. Excellent value and surprisingly high quality. Definitely recommend:)

Great Quality and DesignI never write reviews for items we purchase online, but had to for this because it is a beautifully designed, quality piece of furniture. I reluctantly ordered it because I wasn't sure of the stain shade and finish. Although it doesn't excatly match our polyurethaned natural oak floors, it blends in well with them, with just a little more brown than the floors. It fits perfectly under a wall mounted TV and has ample storage. Also, delivery was very good.

great style and versatilityWe use ours for a tv stand for our large tv. The glass doors with shelves behind are perfect for the dvd player and other equipment. The other shelves also hold baskets for all of the dvd's and cd's. The pull out shelves are great to set a drink on.I don't have to worry about ruining the top of the piece and the drawers hold all the rest!! Lots of storage.

Nice piece but beware of deliveryI ordered this in the distressed black- it’s a nice piece but was delivered substantially damaged. Sent it back, asked for a second one which also arrived damaged. Will work with the second one, but disappointing for a piece that wasn’t cheap to start with.

Pleased with the look of the cabinetI was pleased to receive the Belgard Cabinet in distressed black, after waiting around 3 months (as I was told it was on back order due to it being a popular piece). I am using the cabinet in my dining room and am happy with its appearance. I did want to mention, though, that the drawers are not dovetailed as is mentioned in the description of the cabinet.
