Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Fees

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

All shipping charges are based on the original retail price of the product prior to any discounts being applied.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday I purchased this piece online at least 3 years ago as the anchor for our family room. It holds a large 60" TV that we use daily. I get compliments on it every time some one walks into my home. It goes with any style and is exceptionally solid. It feels and looks great. It holds up to a toddler frequently opening and pressing on the glass doors and opening the drawers. I can imagine making this piece useful in many rooms or homes for everything. I personally agonize over every home purchase but I'm happy with this every day. I would highly recommend.

It worked well in both my log cabin and my new traditional home. It holds soo much, two sets of china (12 servings), wine glasses, water glasses, silver etc.... I have the distressed black and it is a very nice finish, not very distressed

Had previously purchased a similar piece from another catalog store and sent it back, twice, due to poor craftsmanship and problems with the finish. This one is lovely and fits perfectly in my space. Only problem is that one of the glass panels appears to have been scratched. I am hoping the glass can be replaced easily.

It looks great in our family room and the quality of the piece is much better than I expected. The delivery went smoothly and the cabinet was placed exactly as directed. Based on my positive experience I will not hesitate to order additional items from Ballard.

My husband and I finally drove to a Ballard Design outlet store, and we were lucky to find this piece in the store that day (and in the oak finish)!! It was meant to be...because I fell in love! This specific piece had a few scratches on it, so we were able to purchase it at a discount price but had to rent a Truck to drive it (2 hours) home. We receive endless compliments on this piece and would high recommend it! It is definitely worth the price and risk of buying online!!
