Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I'd been looking for a small sconce, more traditional than modern to put in my office. I bought two of the Beckham sconces and couldn't be more pleased. The clips are strong so the sconce doesn't shift, the cords (cloth covered like old fashioned lamps) extend straight from the back so they aren't noticeable once they are installed. The finish and design are neutral enough that they blend in, but aren't dull. I think the maximum wattage recommended is 25 watts so these aren't meant to be very bright...just meant to add a bit of glow to a room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beckham Sconce These lights are so great. Have them in built in bookcases. They add just enough light where there had been none. No need for special wiring, electrical boxes, etc. I have been looking for these for a long time. Hard to find anything like this. They clamp right on the shelf and you are ready to go. Great item.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nearly perfect sconce I looked elsewhere for alternatives and found none. Had I found any, it still would have been difficult to pass this up. I like that it is sold without shades, allowing me to order the style of shade I wanted. The cord is durable and at an 8-foot length there was plenty of cord to run behind my bookshelves to an outlet. One improvement I would recommend is for the switch to be closer to the lamp. A thumbwheel cord switch is placed about 15 inches beyond where the clip meets the bookshelf edge. My bookshelves are 10.5 inches deep which should be close to the average bookshelf depth. If I want to run the cord straight back through the solid-backed bookshelf, this puts the switch 4.5 inches beyond the back of the bookcase. If I don't want to cord bunched up on my shelf, I need to reel it back in from behind my bookshelf to get to the switch. There are ways to work around this. To have the switch accessible, either the cord needs to be coiled on the shelf, the switch needs modified to be moved closer to the lamp, the cord between the switch and lamp need to be shortened, or a separate switch needs to be used. With two sconces lighting 3 bookshelves, I opted to run both to a shared plug controlled by a wall switch. This allowed me to run the cords straight back such that the thumbwheel switches are always on and hang behind the bookshelves. Had I not wanted to do this, i would have either dismantled the switches and rewired them closer to the lamp post or cut the cord between the switch and lamp socket and rewired that. With 6.5 inches of cord from the back of the clip to the lamp post, it would make more sense to design a switch in that space. This would make the switch most accessible and allow the remainder of the cord to be run to the back of the bookshelf, discretely hiding behind whatever the shelf holds. On most shelves this would allow 7 inches of space behind the clip where objects can be placed without getting in the way of the switch and keeping the cord hidden. The clip holds firm and is padded with felt. I have no worries of scratching up the shelf with this lamp. The clip mounting was the biggest draw for me as I expect to be adding a 4th bookshelf and I'll want to easily move the sconces. The lamp in general is very sturdy. The metal leaves are thick enough to never fear them getting accidentally bent/broken but are flexible enough to be carefully adjusted if desired. As I'm quite happy with the sconce and have found no other like it, I would have given them 5-stars if the switch placement was designed to be more accessible.
