If you're not happy, we're not happy. That's where our "Love It or Send It Back" policy comes in. If you're dissatisfied with your Ballard purchase for any reason, you can return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or full refund* (excluding Shipping & Processing fees).

You are invited to try items within our Best of Ballard collection risk-free for 30 days. If you're not satisfied, we will refund the purchase price AND shipping costs. Best of Ballard items are exempt from additional discounts and free shipping offers.

If you don't absolutely love your new slipcovered seating or upholstered seating for any reason, return it within 10 days of delivery absolutely free – we'll even pay the return shipping. It's that simple. We guarantee it. Now doesn't that make you happy?

We want you to be happy. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or refund (excluding Shipping & Processing fees). All products are guaranteed from defects for a full year.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Fees

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

Truck Delivery

Generally available for delivery 2-3 weeks after shipping.

  • Items are unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage, or covered area of your choice.
  • If the home is a multi-dwelling building, the items will be delivered inside the residence.

In-Home Truck Delivery

  • On many larger items, like furniture, you have the option to upgrade the delivery experience to In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • Some items only ship via In-Home Truck Delivery.
  • With our In-Home Truck Delivery service, the item will be brought inside in your home, unpacked, placed in its final destination, and packaging materials removed.
  • Assembly is not included.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUST BUY THEM! Beautiful and quality chairs! This is my 2nd order of these chairs - not because there was anything wrong, but instead because I LOVE them so much! They are a little spendy, but honestly - worth every penny. You can buy 2-3 cheap chairs , but will have to keep replacing over and over. These are lifetime chairs. They are very high quality and weather proof. We have gone through 2-3 tough winters with them stored outside and they still look brand new. The wicker is very strong, but still soft and pliable. They are comfortable and extremely stylish. We had a little oops with this last order - one barstool was sent in place of a chair, but within 5 minutes on the phone with customer service and I had a replacement on the way and a pick up scheduled for tomorrow to return the barstool. Judy in customer service was calm, professional and very concerned with my satisfaction. Excellent customer service. This is why I continue to purchase from Ballard Design. Excellence by design.

(we tried all the chairs in the house but, alas, my Bailey Woven Chair, is "just right" to quote Papa Bear). Anywho, I ordered another one for Mama Bear...the chair is classy, sturdy, EZ to put together (like 10 minutes) and yeah, "just right".

I have them on a jute rug and the feet snag a bit, not enough to change the rug but would slide better on something low pile. Very comfortable, more so then they look. Very easy to assemble.
