Beautiful, but plan aheadThese rods are stunning and look awesome in our family room. However, they are steel pipe - not easily cut to size. So, either they already fit your windows (ours did not), and my handy hubby had to cut them with a pipe cutter. Definitely plan ahead. Now that the work is all done they are beautiful. The corner connectors were a perfect solution for our corner windows.

NiceInstalls easily, looks lovely. If you plan on drawing the draperies often, reconsider - the rings do not slide easily over the “bamboo” ridges, it makes a heck of a noise and the rod looks as if it will scratch over time. Luckily, my use will be non drawing panels.

classic with a twistgreat product. the bamboo gives it a little unique twist on a classic brass item. they are definitely noisy when pulled over brass rod, so consider that. also, don't be surprised that all of their items are sold separate: rod, finials, and rings (which come in pack of 10- NOT enough for me to hang two curtains just FYI!) So as much as these products are great, they're definitely more expensive once you add everything together than it initially appeared.

Sturdy and elegantThese are substantial rods, and look great with my chinoiserie decor. However, if you are going to be opening and closing your curtains a lot you might not like the raised bamboo design since the curtain rings do not slide across easily. Otherwise, they would definitely get 5 stars.

Nice looking!The rings are substantial in weight and size. Very pretty. The reason for a mid rating is that I purchased two packs and they were not the same shade. (Good idea to open packs when you receive them in case you need to exchange.). One pack was a brright and shiny brass and the other pack was a darker brass. I alternated the rings so they would blend together and as it turns out you don't really see them. Consider when buying, you may not need to spend so much on rings!

Doesn’t matchDespite previous reviews which did report two different colors of brass on this product, apparently the company does not read previous or likely this review to report the same issue. Half of my rod is shiny brass the other half is aged brass. How does anyone who packed this originally not see the disparity? And why does this continue?

Double the trouble with this itemI purchased this drapery rod set in the 8ft. version and it arrived with the two 4ft. pieces not matching in color or hue. When they met in the middle, the difference was extremely obvious. Also the finials that arrived were two different colors/hue. One was more golden brass and the other one bright orangey brass. I sent them back for exchanges and the second set they sent me came with the two poles/finials not only still different in color/hue, but one pole got lose in the box and scratched up both poles. It also had rust on it, as if I was sent someone else’s return! After a second lengthy phone conversation with a customer service representative, the only response was to send it back again. No offers to do anything else for all the trouble I had with this item. With other retailers, I would’ve received a quality controlled replacement immediately, without sending the item back, no questions asked. At this point, I’m one very unsatisfied customer with this purchase and the way I was treated!
