We want you to be happy. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 90 days of the ship date for an exchange or refund (excluding Shipping & Processing fees). All products are guaranteed from defects for a full year.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, you may contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-536-7551 and a representative will be glad to arrange a return or exchange for you.

Please note: Any items that are monogrammed, customized, Customer's Own Material (COM), or made-to-order cannot be modified, cancelled, returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective. Defective items will be exchanged unless no longer available, in which case a Merchandise Certificate will be issued. Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours. For check and money orders, you can expect to receive your refund check within 7-10 business days.

Orders equal to and under $200 will be charged 15% of the total order value.

Orders over $200 will be charged 10% of the total order value with a cap at $350.

Expedited Shipping

Delivery Time

We offer Two Business Day or Next Business Day Expedited Shipping on many items. Expedited orders received by 4 pm ET Monday–Friday are shipped the same day.

Expedited order cut-offs may vary during weeks surrounding a federally recognized holiday.

Rates start at $25 for Two Business Day and $35 for Next Business Day and increase based on the size of your order. The amount will be calculated at check out or call us for a quote.

What To Expect For Truck Deliveries

  1. After your items have shipped, you will be contacted by our delivery partner to schedule a day and 4 hour window for your delivery.
  2. When scheduling, share any restrictions or special circumstances that could impact your delivery including, but is not limited to:
    • Narrow roads
    • Restricted delivery times
    • Gated entrances
    • Proof of insurance requirements
    • Multiple flights of stairs
    • Service elevator restrictions
  3. Ensure that all items will fit through access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators, and around corners into the desired location.
  4. On the day of delivery, our delivery partner will call you approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at your home.
  5. Please prepare for your delivery by ensuring clear pathways and removing any fragile items that could be damaged during the delivery. Our delivery provider is unable to move any existing furniture.
  6. Our delivery experience is contactless and your signature is not required. If you observe an imperfection, notify the delivery team and either refuse the item or contact us at 888-263-9850 for a resolution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from slipcovered chair and sofa I love the couch and sofa, they are very comfortable, however the slipcovers are VERY tight. It's nice they are washable, but you cannot dry them. Found this out the hard way when my chair covers were put in the dryer. They shrank. Kind of negates them being "washable". Line drying this large covers is not reasonable. It would be nice if the fabric was pre-washed and there was a "loose" look cover. I would recommend but the covers are tight!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color and Size Issues I highly recommend getting fabric swatches first. I ordered the off white canvas (pre-made option) and it was more of a butter yellow color. I purchased for my Vintage Vogue chair style, and past cover replacements fit, but this new slipcover was way too large for my chair. I have previously had no issues with replacement covers, but this last one I had to return sadly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from chair I saw this chair in a featured room in the catalog I love the colors and am in process of decorating my living room the same.The chair is lovely but it is so small.Everyone thinks it is a childs chair.I had it covered in my choice of fabric so I am stuck with it.I will put it in my bedroom,but now I have to go through this whole process again.I think I will just go to a furniture storeI don't think I will buy furniture from Ballard againI had to wait 3 months to get it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great until you wash the slipcover! I loved this chair so much I ordered a second one, then I washed the MACHINE WASHABLE slipcover. I swear on all that is holy, I had an easier time giving birth to a 10lb baby without an epidural than I did trying to put the slipcover back on this chair! At first I thought perhaps I had done something wrong, the slipcover didn't fit at all, so I opened the slipcovers for the second chair i have on order (the slipcovers arrive separately, weeks ahead of the body). I used the second slipcover until it came time to wash then I followed the instructions EXACTLY. Now the second slipcover doesn't fit either!! I ordered this furniture, with these slipcovers, specifically for the ease of washing it at home. Now I have this chair AND the matching sofa with no slipcovers!!! Very disappointed. I have 3 children and 2 big dogs. I can't afford to dry clean slipcovers after every spot and spill.
