I had to put them in the dryer with a dryer sheet to make the smell bearable. It still didn't completely eliminate the odor. I would expect more from such an expensive item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gardengal7 from Beautiful Drapes…. Beautiful Drapes. They leave the room with a soft…zen feel. Just spritz them with a little water, put in dryer for 10 minutes and iron on low. They hang beautifully on a double rod with white sheers behind. I purchased the 20x20 pillow case and had it altered to 14x20 and it made a beautiful accent pillow for the bed. A little pricey.
