Well Made, Weather WellWe purchased 3 of the 11' black and sand to go around our brand new pool deck last summer and they weathered super well in the N. Texas summer heat. They are quick to hose off and when it rained and we left them closed for several days afterward, they didn't mildew or smell musty like some other umbrellas have done. We have one inside our pool on the sun deck and the other 2 are outside. The tilt feature works really well in the pool for the sun at various angles throughout the day. I would recommend these to anyone.

Great Umbrella! has held up for 6 years plusI bought the 9' Auto Tilt Umbrella 9' AUTO TILT UMBRELLA, code F0062. Well worth the cost which is reasonable - i got mine on sale. I ordered the red sunbrella fabric. It is out 10 months a year in all temps and in the hot sun. The umbrella has not faded at all. Still working perfectly going on years. 9 ft fits a small deck very well.

Beautiful Umbrella -Excellent QualityJust got three of these 11 foot umbrellas in Sunbrella Sand/Black stripes with aluminum poles. They were a breeze to put together and they are beautiful and made well. I am happy I finally ordered these. The stand that goes with them is also very nice and 50 pounds. I ordered the 30 pound extra weights which are coming to make sure these large umbrellas stay in place.

9 ' Auto Tilt UmbrellaThis is our second purchase of an auto tilt umbrella from Ballard Designs. These umbrellas are beautifuly made from top quality materials. Our first umbrella purchase was four years ago and it is difficult to tell which one is the older of the two umbrellas.

Crazy pricingWe bought the same umbrella several years ago but it got some paint overspray on it so we decided to replace the cover. We found that the replacement cover was much more expensive than to buy the whole umbrella so we bough the whole umbrella. Just doesn't make any sense to me.

Great umbrellaWe are very happy with our new 11' umbrella, both the pole and canvas are great quality. We did end up buying a commercial grade base for it, as it is huge and heavy and we were worried our standard base wouldn't be enough. We initially ordered the "Coral" canvas, thinking is would be a cheerful/bright pinkish orange, but it was closer to traffic cone orange, and it cast a terrible orange glow all around our deck and on the side of our house. We took it down immediately as anyone sitting under the umbrella looked like they had a bad spray tan, and we knew we'd never get used to (or be happy with) the color. We exchanged the canvas for the "Spa" color. It is a light, muted shade of green - not very exciting, but much easier on the eyes. Ballard customer service handled the exchange promptly and professionally. I would recommend this umbrella, just choose your canvas color with care and be sure you have an extra heavy stand.

Great looking and easy to useWe bought this umbrella in the Kiwi stripe and it is a great shade of green, not super bright but really refreshing for summer. The umbrella was easy to put together and works really well. Only thing was we couldn't figure out how to make it tilt at first. A lot of umbrellas have a joint where you can push a button and adjust the angle but this one will tilt once it is fully opened. Just continue to crank the handle.

Great umbrellaThis is a great umbrella and the second one I have purchased from Ballard. My only complaint is that no one tells you that the frame and fabric are shipped separately so when the frame arrived without fabric I thought it was a broken umbrella. I called to let Ballard know and they explained the fabric is shipped on its own and would arrive in a few days. The first umbrella I ordered years back was a 9ft umbrella and it shipped all together in one piece.

Beautiful color, sturdy construction, worth the price.I purchased the turquoise umbrella and the color is beautiful. This is a nice sized umbrella that I purchased to put outside of my outdoor covered patio when I'm having a large dinner crowd and I use my large folding table but want my guests to be shaded. This size does the trick. Easy to crank up and down. I also purchased a heavy duty stand elsewhere to hold this large umbrella securely.

Great Umbrella!We have a Sunbrella and wanted a new one in a different color. The Sunbrella name is important because of their quality and durability. Never fades either! Easy to open and close and the tilt options are perfect. Very sturdy. Highly recommend.
