We did not love the excessive amount of packing materials we had to get rid of though. The sofa came in a large cardboard box. Inside the box was styrofoam blocking wrapped in cardboard. We were determine to recycle whatever possible. We had to remove all the packing tape and separate the cardboard from the styrofoam. There was so much cardboard from the amalfi set (sofa, table and 2 chairs) that we had to divide the cardboard disposal over three weeks to fit it in our recycling container. The styrofoam filled 2 large trash cans.

Just what we needed!Bought this to fill an empty sun room. The sofa and 3 chairs make the perfect spot for sitting with visitors. Everyone says "this is my favorite room in the house." The easy care fabric makes it easy to relax. Fits right in with the outdoor view. Very happy with our purchase. Make certain you have help with the unpacking. That was a bear! Had to pay extra to the city to pick up the boxes. So if you order make certain you also plan for the packaging. Staggering the ties would help immensely on the sofa cushions. They fight to sit evenly.

Fabulous purchaseI had been hesitant to purchase a large item on line without seeing it. I was concerned about the quality as well as how well it would handle the shipping. Well--nothing to worry about here. The sofa is just beautiful and it was so well packed that nothing could have been damaged.In fact, it took my husband and I quite a while to dismantle the enormous box it was in as well as all of the incredible interior packing.I am very pleased with the sofa as well as a chair and ottoman that I purchased.Only wish that there had been a choice of colors for the cushions.The tan color is ok, very neutral and will be fine with bright pillows. However, I really think there should have been another choice of colors for people who don't like brown!!

Happy with my purchaseI purchased the sofa after reading other reviews so I could evaluate the quality. I just added a very large patio that I wanted to furnish with a lot of different pieces. The quality of the sofa was much better than anything that I saw at local furniture stores at a much higher price. After receiving the sofa, I end up buying: coffee table, two end tables, two Baluster umbrella tables, the large dining table with six chairs, and the double chaise lounge. Everyone that has seen the patio are amazed by the furniture. The only downside is the shipping expense which is 10% of the cost.

Comfortable QualityI am very happy. I purchased this for a 4 seasons room that's right off a formal living room. It's a quality piece of furniture that goes well with many styles but also one that is going to stand up to the harsh sun and varying tempatures of a space that isn't as climate-controlled as my house. Add a couple of throw pillows in the corners and it's very comfortable - just ask my cat!

Outstanding All AroundWe ordered the sofa, cuddle chair and rocker at relatively the same time but still different orders. Customer service called and was able to get it all delivered at once and very much intact. They even brought everything to my back yard when they absolutely did not have to. Our new Amalfi outdoor living room looks amazing and is an incredible leap from what was previously out there. Anyone interested should absolutely buy the sofa, cuddle chair, AND rocker.

Great value!Been looking for quite a while for outdoor furniture for my balcony. Was a little nervous ordering furniture without sitting on it first, but after reading all the reviews for the Amalfi collection, decided to take a chance. Good decision! We are very happy with both the couch, chair and ottoman. The cushion color is a more of a goldan/tan which actually matches our stucco house perfectly!
Will be adding more pieces for sure!

Nice furniture - please change the way it's soldWe have a number of the Amalfi pieces for our patio, and really like them. Ballard, please do not sell them with the stock beige cushions AND replacement cushions. I only want to buy one set of cushions - the upgraded, Sunbrella option. I'm not ordering them because I don't need two sets of cushions. Give customers the option of buying the furniture plus the upgraded cushions, without making us buy the stock beige ones as well.

Great piece...cushions could be betterI have the sofa as well as two of the lounge chairs. They are a beautiful set and have held up well, I just wish the cushions were more comfortable...both the fill and the fabric (which is scratchy). It's okay to sit on briefly, but not so much something you'd want to cozy up in or take a nap on...I would love suggestions if anyone has found more comfortable replacement cushions, because I love the beautiful frame and quality!

DisappointedI was so excited about this collection...but the seat depth was way too short. Made us feel like we were sitting at a werid angle. And the cushion backs didn't come up high enough on your back
