Rated 3 out of 5 by Meg78 from Back Cushion: Too Big and Lacks Style I just received the Amalfi chaise and ottoman (which are high quality and aesthetically appealing items), but I'm very disappointed with the back cushion style and "fit." The cushions appear to be well-made and are very comfortable, but the back cushion looks like a seat cushion propped-up in a back cushion position. Friends and family members have made the same observation. It's also about 4" taller than the back of the chair. I understand that it's longer than the chair back so that it will fit the chaise when you lay it flat, however in our case (and I suspect many others), the chaise will never be in a flat (completely horizontal) position. I suggest that the manufacturer/retailer create a second option for the hinged cushion, which would be shorter at about 28" from the seat and provide a curve/arch at the top and a 2" depth to soften its appearance and create an overall, better fit. I would appreciate hearing back from someone who is in a position to research my suggestion and can actually ensure the creation of a second option.
