9’ Automatic Tilt UmbrellaI ordered the 9 foot auto tilt umbrella in the canvas sand, and I couldn’t be happier. I was attempting to match the umbrella pole to another umbrella I had and with the option of choosing three different colors of pole finishes, I was able to match the colors precisely. The canvas sand color looks like it does on-line and in the catalog and goes perfectly with my patio furniture and compliments my existing umbrella. I love the ability to chose from so many different fabric colors for the umbrella as well as for the pole. I also love the automatic umbrella lift system with the crank and the auto tilt feature. It makes it very easy to set up and use. In addition to the umbrella, I also ordered the umbrella stand and everything works beautifully. I would definitely purchase from Ballard Designs in the future.

Love This Umbrella!The umbrella is beautiful and I love it. Anyone debating about this purchase should go for it. The quality is excellent and though the price point is a little high...I believe it to be well worth it....Don't cheap out! Quality always seems to cost more up front---but the payoff is worth it in the long term.

Sturdy and the built in tilt feature is great!I purchased two of the umbrellas and base for each. We are enjoying them both! I have one with a table and chairs and the other sitting by two rockers. It stands alone and has not been blown over.

Great outdoor umbrella!We needed a good shade umbrella for our small outdoor patio and wanted one that could tilt. This one fit the bill-great construction and we paired it with the heavy balustrade base so it wouldn’t blow over. They look wonderful together and we couldn’t be more pleased with the purchase.

Great 9' umbrella.This is the second 9" umbrella I have purchased from Ballard Design, and as usual, it is quality. They last many years and we've had no mechanical problems with the tilt and crank assembly. The canvas can be removed and put in the washer when needed. I always watch for Ballard's sales and get a good price as well.

Love this umbrella!We are absolutely thrilled with the quality, function and look of this umbrella. You can tell it’s very well made as its super sturdy and can be opened, closed and tilted with ease. The Sunbrella canopy is also really nice and the sand/spa color is beautiful. we have received endless compliments on it, and many requests as to where we purchased it because no one else seems to be happy with their umbrellas. Glad we went with Ballard Designs for ours as we believe it’s beauty and function will last.

Beautiful and easy to put canvas on base!Makes me wonder why I waited so long! I was concerned that I would need help "attaching" the canvas...I'm 64 and my hands aren't very strong. It was a breeze...took me less than 10 minutes. It is easy to crank and is heavy enough not to 'spin' when tilted. I may buy a second one...

Beautiful UmbrellaBoxes arrived on time and intact. Umbrella was packed well and box can be saved for off season storage. The umbrella color is exactly as pictured and nice heavy weight fabric. Includes ties to tie the umbrella down when closed to eliminate wind damage, don't even have to remove the umbrella from its deck sleeve. Bought two, and glad I did.

Beautiful Umbrella!I looked for a long time and through many sites to find an umbrella that was turquoise and white striped, and sturdy. I found a bunch that were nice looking but not sturdy enough to last. Then my friend asked if I had checked Ballard Designs and BOOM, there was my dream umbrella, the right color, the right size, and I got to pick the frame! I ordered it and it came within a week. It's a really strong frame and the material for the canopy being Sunbrella is a big plus! Every time I open the canopy it makes me happy.

So glad I bought it...you will be too!!!!Love love this umbrella....I was skeptical when it arrived, as the package was so beat up, I was sure it would be a beat up mess. But it turned out to be fine, no damage...The fabric part went right on, although it did help to have a second person to help! It looks great and is sooo nice to have a crank umbrella. I had one for years i had to stand on a chair and try to manipulate...it was awful. This works like a breeze, just crank it either way...to tilt just keep cranking past open and it starts tilting. I got it during a sale, so that really helped; but its worth the price. Just get it, you will not be sorry!

Wonderful umbrellaWe needed a replacement umbrella for our outdoor dining table, and I searched around online, but liked Ballard's selection of fabric colors the best. Plus, I was really pleased with the fact that the fabric is Sunbrella. I'm hoping that it will give us many seasons of use, and stay in good shape. The tilt is a great feature, and the color of the fabric coordinates well with my existing cushions. The fabric is thick and sturdy, and it appears to be great quality. Very pleased with this purchase.

Love the fact that you can remove the umbrella and wash it. Also like the crank to open, rather than the draw strings so many umbrellas have.Love this umbrella. I purchased two last year and another one this year when they went on sale.
