In-Home Delivery In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)

loved the piece but quality control could be improved
I ordered 2 Whitney nightstands--I love the style and finish. But for the first time, I have been disappointed with the quality of a Ballard product. It was the little things that would have ruined the piece if my husband had not been as handy as he is. The hole for the knob was countersunk too deeply--without a washer from us the knob would not tighten. The hole drilled for the screw to attach the legs was again too deep--luckily we had a longer double screw to replace the one provided.
The cabinets are assembled, in use, and now look great. The lapses in quality control are fixed, but without extra touches we provided, the cabinets would have been either a disappointment or returned.

Exactly what I was looking for
I ordered the Whitney cabinet in white version. It is beautiful! I've been looking for a pretty cabinet that was small enough to fit on a wall in a small bedroom. This one fits the bill perfectly! Assembly was quick and easy, and the quality is excellent. The drawer and cabinet offer lots of storage space. The cabinet does have a removable shelf to help divide the space if you want it. Love, love, love it!

Pleased with my new cabinet
This cabinet arrived in timely fashion, yet another hassle-free delivery as I've come to expect from Ballard. It's one of the high points of being a customer there, I find. Assembly was easy enough for a liberal arts major (arrives mostly assembled, only minimal effort required, e.g., attachment of legs). The distressed black finish looks great and adds a classic look to my powder room. The Whitney cabinet, along with another Ballard cabinet I own, is special because it can be pretty difficult to find attractive furniture pieces that are compact enough to fit in small spaces. This one is both!

Good cabinet
I purchased one Whitney Cabinet in black to use in the small entrance of my appartment. I received the cabinet about one month ago as of writing this review. The cabinet arrived in good condition and assembly was easy. I did not encounter any problems whatsoever. The quality of the cabinet is good. The doors of the cabinet are not perfectly aligned, you can see this imperfection by looking at the knobs of the doors as they are slightly uneven looking. The magnetic closures to keep the doors closed are functionning properly, however, I would have prefered slightly stronger magnets. I do have concerns about how the magnetic closures will hold up in the longterm future; however this should be something that could be fixed fairly easily if a problem of keeping the doors properly closed ever occurs in the future. The reclaimed wood top has 'obviously machine-made' deep scratches (probably to contribute to giving the cabinet an antique look). These marks in my opinion do not contribute to the quality nor to the antique timeless look of the cabinet. I would have prefered to not have these obviously fake and unauthentic marks. The distressing of the black surfaces of the cabinet were subtle enough to look authentic. The knobs used for the two doors and the drawer are also in my opinion slightly too big, even though the look of these knobs is adequate for this type of cabinet; I would have prefered slightly smaller and more delicate looking knobs; for this reason I will probably eventually change the knobs, which can be easily done.
