Rated 5 out of 5 by mamamo11 Exactly as ordered
I ordered the chair in domino green; this is the second one I ordered in that fabric and it looks the same as the one I ordered a year ago. Nice workmanship and was delivered exactly as estimated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LSGolfGirl Great desk/office chair
Just received my upholstered parsons chair with casters and it is beautiful and comfortable - the perfect chair for both my office desk and table! I ordered it in the black and off white sinclair damask fabric....the fabric has a great feel, looks great on the finished chair and overall just gorgeous! :-D I look forward to using this chair for many years to come.

I am so happy with my parson chairs. The workmanship is great. The fabric I chose looks exactly like the sample I had previously ordered. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to add a new look to their dining room.
Delivery was as expected, actually arrived a few days early.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Whitedaisygirl Pretty chair
I ordered this in the Capri butter Sunbrella fabric for use as an office desk chair. I love that the chair is armless so that it tucks flush with the desk when not in use. The fabric does not look or feel plastic-y despite being suitable for outdoor use. It has a lovely drape and sheen. The upholstery job is perfection. The castors move freely. I added a contrasting lumbar pillow for support and cuteness. I am considering ordering another for use with my makeup vanity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jannygirl overall, very happy with this puchase
this purchase was a good choice for my needs, not sure at first because the swatch was a more vibrant color (camel velvet) than the chair was, in addition it is pretty lightweight for the price. I have this in my office and it looks good with the style of desk I have and does give more manuerving room than a traditional office chair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lisashopaholic Great chair, but castors are too good!
I love this chair however, the castors make the chair roll all over the place. I think my floors aren't even. If there is a way to slow them down, that would be great. It's comfy and beautiful. But, really it's perfect except for that.

This is my second Parsons chair and this one seems firmer and sits a bit higher which is more comfortable at a computer desk.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Deej Just OK
Parsons chairs are everywhere now. I ordered this one because the price was right and it was on casters so I could use it at a desk. I was disappointed by the quality of the chair when it arrived. VERY light in weight and just doesn't feel like it will hold up for long. I hope I am wrong!

I like the fabric but found the chair backs too short.

Rated 3 out of 5 by oldworlddesigner A good value for the quality with one exception.
This chair arrived earlier than expected and that was a pleasant surprise. The proportions of the chair are good and for the quality it is a great price. The one issue I had was with the quality of the upholstery job. I have used this particular beautiful linen print fabric before for window treatments and was aware of the large pattern repeat. On this particular chair because of the way the pattern was applied you think it looks like it was applied upside down, when in fact it was just the way it was upholstered. With an accent pillow on the seat the problem was solved. I think that more attention to where and how the pattern repeats would have resulted in a chair that was stunning instead of one where you question whether or not it was correctly upholstered.

Rated 2 out of 5 by SusieHomemaker Looks Nice But Only Fair Quality & Function
I contemplated buying this chair for a long time. Wanted it to use it in conjunction with Ballard's 3 drawer desk. Although the chair was shown pictured with the desk many times in the catalogs and on-line, they are not really a good fit for each other. Even with the castors, the chair is too low to sit comfortably at the desk. Because my body sits so low in the chair and my hand and arm rest higher on the desk, my hand constantly goes to sleep while using the computer mouse. I suspect the chair would also be too low to use it comfortably at a dining room table. Had the chair been an inch or two higher, I would have given it a 3 star rating.
As another reviewer mentioned, the chair is very lightweight and it doesn't feel particularly sturdy but when using it as a desk chair, that does make it easy to scoot around.
Overall, I'm disappointed in this purchase from the function and quality aspect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by emerald29 Not very well made
The chair seat seems very flimsy for the money I paid and the fabric is very stiff. There is a squeak in the seat and I believe the wood is perhaps pressed board instead of hardwood. The seat is not very comfy.
On a positive side, it rolls super easily and matches my bathroom.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TATA Too much money for the quality...
The fabric is what I expected, however, the weight of the chair is very light and tips over easily. The casters also are below average because they fall out all the time. I would have expected better quality for the price.
