Standard Delivery
Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery
Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery
In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery
Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.
Express Delivery
Express orders received by 3 p.m. EST are shipped the same day.
For items under 15 lb., the following Express Delivery rates apply:
- Two day service, add $9.95
- Next day service, add $19.95
- Alaska, Puerto Rico, USVI & Hawaii, add $9.95 (Express Delivery required)

Swatch Shipping
Ballard Designs offers up to 10 free swatches for all of our fabrics for a small fee of $5.95 for shipping and processing. It will take 3-7 business days for your swatches to arrive. The swatches are approximately a 3" X 3" square.

looks great
My new chairs look fabulous in my dining room. I ordered them in the Sinclair Damask, and was a bit worried when I realized it was an outdoor fabric. When they arrived, I was extremely pleased with the fabric quality and appearance. In the end it was a good mistake as they will be easier to clean, and will not fade as quickly in my sunny dining room. Also, the chairs arrived almost a month sooner than expected. This was my first purchase from Ballard and I am very happy!

Attractive modern-looking chair
I bought six of these chairs to replace my old dining room chairs. They are attractive, comfortable and modern-looking. I ordered a variety of swatches so that I could choose the color that would fit with my decor. It was a great way to update my dining room without buying an entire new set.

Awful height. Seat too low!
Pretty but poor. Chair seats are so low you feel like you need a booster seat to reach your table. My table is 30 inches tall which is standard and when you sit on the chair your elbows can't rest on the table. Dimensions not as published on website.

The upholstered couture chair
i changed out my kitchen chairs for the upholstered couture chair..it is the right height, size and having a variety of slipcovers makes it perfect for a kitchen. also, it is far more comfortable than a rattan or hard wood back chair.

Chair fine, fabric not
I think the chair itself is just fine. However, I was extremely disappointed with the fabric that I chose from Ballard. The color was completely different than what I saw on the website. (I looked at it from two different computer screens) My advice is to order the fabric swatch. I'm now stuck with a chair that doesn't match my room at all, and need to have it reupholstered.

Style and Comfort!
I was sure to scotchgard the beautiful fabric before use. I knew these chairs were going to be gorgeous but I was surprised by the superior comfort. The Haley blue fabric looks great with the dark wood legs. Each chair was expertly packed and arrived in perfect condition.

Very comfortable and very stylish
I was concerned about buying chairs online without having the opportunity to sit in them before buying. I decided to take a chance and am pleased to report that they are not only elegant, but very comfortable. They are also very lightweight and easy to move around.

remarkable speed of delivery
i couldn't believe how quickly these custom chairs arrived. for the money the are great chairs. very good value, and i got during the upholstery sale. the fit and finish i would say is a 7 out of 10. Not exceptional, but very good for the money.

Perfect!
The chairs are the right size and finish and the fabric is perfect for our dining room. We ordered a few swatches before placing our final order and it was a wise move. The finished product is all we thought it would be.

Great addition to our home office!

Love these chairs
I ordered 6 of these chairs to go around my dining room table and I am thrilled with how they turned out. They are super comfortable and look great. I love that you can customize it and there are so many choices of fabrics. We chose a microfiber fabric which will hopefully prevent them from getting stained by the inevitable red wine spill!

Chair arrived promtly.
I ordered this chair in Balboa Ikat. After having ordered from other companies, the chair arrived much quicker than I expected. The design of the fabric is centered correctly on the chair and the fabric seems to be of good quality. I am very pleased with my purchase. It looks great in my home!

Gorgeous chair
I have an anitique dining room set made of walnut. I ordered 2 chairs to add more seating, and with the fabric I chose, they are a beautiful contrast, yet are perfec around the table! I knew I couldn't match the fabric on the original chairs. Very rich looking, the price was good also!

Was exactly what we needed
We were looking for dining room chairs for our vacation rental property. We needed something quick, comfortable and sturdy. These fit the bill. Wish they came in some other fabric choices and were a bit more cushioned but they will suit our purposes perfectly.

Beautiful Chairs
Couldn't be happier with these chairs. I was nervous about ordering online, but I was pleasantly surprised with the way these chairs came out. Workmanship was good and the fabric I picked is amazing. I would definitely recommend these chairs.

Quality plus!
These chairs exceeded my expectation! They are beautiful, well made and were packaged and shipped so that the skirting wasn't even wrinkled! I am using them with my dining room table, but they would be great as an extra chair anywhere!

Great chairs

Beautiful Chair

Love these chairs!
Chairs arrived earlier than expected and were in excellent packing. Fabric and upholstering job were great. The seats are a little lower and not as firm as I expected, but very nice and recommended!!

This chair is a great value. I chose the quilted white upholstery. But, although this fabric looks great now, I may have chosen a different color since it seems like it will stain easily.

Excellent quality chair for the price
I bought this chair for a desk chair. It is very comfortable and a great size. It arrived with a small ding on one leg, but not significant enough to try and deal with shipping it back.
