Standard Delivery Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.

So Pretty!!!
I asked for a "regular-sized" jewelry box for Christmas from another one of my favorite stores - and was surprised to find the "biggest box ever" underneath our Christmas tree. My husband surprised me with the Stratford Jewelry Chest in French White to fit all of my favorite jewelry (I have a ton of costume jewelry and watches that I love, but couldn't find a place to store in one place)!
It is so pretty and fits my decor perfectly! I have darker wood furniture and the french white added the perfect touch of lightness - I just love it! Like other reviews stated, the side doors are a little hard to open, but it's so pretty and roomy, it really doesn't bother me. Here are pics - enjoy!

More than I expected
Glad to be the first review. I received this chest after looking for one for a very long time. It is so well made and worth the price. I almost bought a competitors chest, but it wasn't assembled and they couldn't tell me how much assembling it took, and it was over $100 more. I'm so happy I bought BD's chest. The color is French White, I was hoping it wouldn't be too dark and it was a perfect antique white. With today's chunky jewelry, a box doesn't cut it, but this is perfect. Thanks.

An unbelievable value at sale price!
I looked for a jewelry chest for almost 2 years before "lucking out" and getting the Stratford at a great sale price with free shipping. It is better-looking, larger and sturdier than many I have seen at twice the price - which I simply wasn't prepared to pay. It arrived in near -perfect condition - I only needed help to pull it out of the box and move it into place though I did have to replace a few side door screws because the originals were stripped. Interestingly, I was not bothered by the strong magnets on the side doors perhaps because I was prepared from reading previous reviews? I recommend it - even at full price, I think it is still a great piece with a no-hassle delivery & set-up.

Disappointing workmanship, overall is "ok"
Received this product recently and more than half of the screws holding on the side doors had fallen out. When I went to screw them back in, the holes were stripped and the screws wouldn't grip. Had to wait for handy husband to get home and use bigger screws to carefully install the side doors so they wouldn't fall off. Very disappointing first furniture experience with Ballard! Now that it's put together, the side doors could use some kind of handle to aid in opening. Might need handy husband to work on that too. Will keep this, but had expected better quality.
