Very happy with these treads!
I needed stair treads for our outdoor porch steps and these are perfect. They're heavy enough to stay put, very well made and look terrific. Even my husband was impressed. I'd found less expensive treads online but I'm happy I chose to order these instead. Thank you, Ballard, for continuing to offer quality products.

They are attractive and non-slip!
These are on my wooden steps from outside to our kitchen. It is our most used entrance so we needed something to knock the dirt off. I wish they had more fibers to help knock off more dirt but they get the job done! These are the most attractive doormat stair treads I was able to find. Thanks Ballard Design!

Treads meet expectations.
I purchased these because my wood deck steps tend to be slippery when wet and of course, when icy. Since putting them down, we've had both rain and frost; the stair treads did a great job when wet and an okay job with the frost. They are sturdy and (for rubber treads) attractive.

Better quality than expected!
I know everything that comes from Ballard is great quality but I was so surprised how thick the rubber was on the stair treads. We have them on our front steps and they receive a lot of traffic and never move! I highly recommend these to anyone wanting to purchase a set.

Great Dirt Catcher
We put these on our garage steps leading into the house. When we went to clean the stairs, we couldn't believe the dirt under the treads. They're soft to step on and nice looking. They can be a bit tricky when stepping on in heels. Other than that, we love them.

Great addition to our front steps!
We bought these because our front steps are concrete and get dirty easily and just don't look that nice. These stair treads are perfect!! They look fantastic and add a lot to the decor! Only complaint is there are think which makes getting heels caught a hazard!

High quality
The treads are of sturdy rubber. They stay put on my painted wooden (and otherwise very slippery) porch stairs. They are easy to shovel off snow. They make walking up our stairs safe in a Midwestern winter and I am pleased with my purchase. Well worth the price.

Perfect treads in every way.
These treads are really amazing, they make everyone feel secure when the stairs are wet or icy, plus they look fantastic and don't slip. I actually saw a similar product at a famous dept. store for twice the price and the design wasn't as pretty. What a deal!

EXCELLENT QUALITY, GREAT PRODUCT!
The appearance is just as described. The quality is SUPERB! Yes, the quality is better than I expected. They look great on my front steps. I have paired them with the double highgate door mat. These products give my entrance a regal appearance. LOVE THEM!

Watch out for wet surfaces
These treads are beautiful addition to our back steps. However, need to be careful to put them down on a dry surface as they slip easily if surface is wet. I stepped on them and they moved under foot. Make sure steps are dry before putting them down.

Rubber stair treads
Fantastic!! These treads are even better looking than I expected. They really are heavy duty, thick rubber that does not move once in place. Slip resistent and durable. Adds a quality, finished look to my front porch steps. Won't be disappointed.

great idea
I love the treads. I have purchased them for myself as well as my two daughters. They prevent dirt from getting into the house. In icy weather they provide protection from slipping on outdoor stairs. They are attractive as well as functional.

Very Satified
Ordered these for new wooden stairs. Good quality and looks nicer than expected. They don't look cheap. Only downside is that they do have strong rubber smell but after 1 week not so bad. I'm going to order more to finish the steps.

Attractive and practical
I bought these to improve safety on the slippery-when-wet back steps of our colonial house. The style goes with the architecture of the house and the treads are heavy enough to stay in place. An attractive and [practical solution.

A best buy
Read all the other reviews before purchasing. After so many positive reviews, thought I would purchase these for our new home. Glad I did. And they DO remind me of wrought iron. They were not flimsy and of great quality.

Nice!
These stair treads seem sturdy and weather-ready. They arrived in March, so the true test will be next winter as they endure the blustery Chicago cold. And by their look/feel, I'm anticipating an easy passing grade.

It's a good idea, but . . .
It seems like a good idea but people are not that certain of their footing when they step on them. Also they do move more that I thought they would. Some kind of adhesive that would not ruin your deck would be nice.

Looks Great and Highly Functional!
Complements the door mat I purchased. Cooper planters sit on top. Provides a barrier between planter and concrete, thus preventing any staining of concrete when planters are wet (from rain or watering).

It hasn't snowed yet so I can't say how they'll perform in icy conditions, but so far these are pretty, they stay put, and they seem like they'll last a really long time. Great purchase.

Sturdy and attractive. Very reasonably priced. perfect for the entrance to sliding doors. Leaves and debris blow out easily. Best solution of the others I've tried. coir, foam etc.

WORTH IT!

Outstanding performance and looks
Beautiful, durable, heavy weight, stable on floor, water drains. We have reordered various mats, rugs, etc. We also use them in key locations around our swimming pool.

These doormat stair treads are wonderful. They don't slide and are easy to put down.
I am so happy with these stair treads. They look beautiful and are strong so the wind does not move them. I no longer have to worry about slipping on the stairs.
