Love it!
My trays came in 2 different boxes...the one in a flat box came out a little bent in on the edges but it popped out with warm air and time. They had a strong rubber smell that also wore off. I LOVE these shoe trays. They look so nice by my front door and they catch all the water and mud! We just moved to an area where it rains constantly and the water was making a mess, these help SO much! Great quality and design!!!

WELL WORTH THE $$$
I was lucky enough to catch these on sale so I purchased 2 of them! One for my laundry room and one for the front door area. I LOVE them! Yes, they have a strong odor when you first get them but it goes away before you even realize it. These are totally worth the price on sale or not...very durable, not cheaply made. They are made with very thick rubber. I highly recommend these products to those who are interested!

This boot tray is a practical and attractive home accessory
With New England winters I needed something other than newspaper on which to place wet, slushy boots upon arriving home. Since I wanted to protect my wood floors this boot tray is perfect. It's high quality, washable and attractive. In winter I can leave it out so i don't track salty water on the floors. An added bonus is that it fits in my coat closet for the spring rainy season--just the place for rain boots.

A Splendid Gift
I sent this boot tray as a gift to folks that get a lot of snow. Recipients were pleased. My only complaint is that the website did not offer provisions to send a gift card or wrapping. Delivery was expedient, and all in all I was pleased to shop here.

super durable~!
This boot tray is wonderful! It is much better quality than I anticipated, super heavy duty and roomier than I imagined too. The only thing is that it did have a very strong smell right out of the box, not to worry though, I just left it leaning upright against the wall outside so air could circulate all around it for a few days and now it is fine. Do not hesitate to buy this! I may order another one~!

Ballard, please make in a 24" length for dog bowl tray
If you could have this same thing made just a little shorter it would be great for pet bowls. I noticed another reviewer also thought of using it for pet bowls and liked it, but what would be better is one that is more like 14 1/2" X 24" as interior dimensions. It would be able to hold two large dog dishes side by side. The 10" extra that this boot tray has is a problem for use as a pet bowl tray if you keep your bowls in the kitchen where people are walking around because the size makes the tray prone to people kicking it and spilling the water. If it were not for the excessive length, a rubber, high-lipped boot tray would be awesome for large dog bowls. Most dog mats don't really protect floors as well as this would. There is a Martha Stewart silicone mat out there which I bought, but it has a very low lip and is too short to hold even a large water and small food bowl side by side.

Attractive and Useful
We got this boot tray as a gift for Christmas and put it to use immediately. It contains the mess from snow, rain, and mud nicely; keeping my floors clean. I like the size too. We store a family's worth of shoes easily; including my husband's size 13 feet (and his boots fit in the tray without having to turn them). I also get many complements on it. I love an item that is both useful and attractive!

Exactly what I needed
This tray is great! It fits nicely under the bench in my front hall and holds at least four pairs of my shoes or boots (women's). I've even squeezed in a fifth pair across the back, too. The only complaint I have, and it's minor, is that after a month it still has that rubbery (petroleum?) smell. But it's noticeable only if you get real close to it. Overall I could not be happier with this purchase.

Boot Caddie
I bought this item for my daughter who lives where it snows a lot and with three children and two adults coming and going, it's difficult to keep the wet shoes and boots from messing up the house. This boot caddie seemed the perfect answer and so it proved to be. She told me she might order another to put by another door in the house. It's always fun to buy a gift that is perfect for the receiver!

Worked out well!
We purchased this item to corral the many shoes that landed just inside our front door, and it has worked very well. We did find a knock-off at our favorite discount store (the one with the red logo) for half the price; however, the sides were very flimsy, so it did not hold its shape. Our only complaint is, we wish it were just a bit larger, as we seem to accumulate more shoes than it can hold!

the best boot trays!
I love my new French Axis Rubber Boot Trays! These trays have changed our mud room into a dirt free zone. We live in New England where sand, grit and salt are always on our boots. It is wonderful to have a tray to catch everything before it ends up being tracked through the house! They are very well made and beautiful to own. You did good!
I had a horrible problem bringing it inside. The top fell off - all hardware fell out. I was NOT contacted beforehand and it was dumped outside and left. If I were you, I would certainly speak to people who deliver your products. I had a very hard time with the whole thing. That being said, I'm pretty good with tools so all is well. However, I think they should refund my delivery charges.

Looks Great, works well
I am giving this a big thumbs up mostly on its appearance and size. It holds several pairs of shoes and boots and the design is quite nice. It was exactly what I wanted. I cannot tell you how well it "works" since it has not snowed an ounce since I purchased it! Maybe next year! The "lip" is nice and high though and I anticipate it will do the job of keeping the snow and water in well.

Stylish yet very functional
Living in the upper Midwest, wet, slushy footwear is a fact of life six months of the year. The rubber boot tray contains the mess and does it with style! The heavy but pliable rubber doesn't harden and crack and is easy to hose off clean when spring bring us relief of snow and ice salt. I'm sure it will continue to contain the muddy mess that April's showers are sure to bring.

Elegant boot tray
I ordered this boot tray to keep by the door where I go in and out to and from the garden. I like the scroll design, and I also like the fact that it is rubber and doesn't scratch my hardwood floors. It contains my garden shoes and keeps me from tracking dirt into the house.
I wish they made it in a smaller size. This one would probably accommodate four pairs of shoes or boots.

Great all around product!
I needed a boot tray and was delighted to see a "pretty" one in the catalog. When it arrived I was even happier! The tray is heavy so it does not slip on the tile floor, the size is perfect for my entrance way and holds at least 4 pairs of shoes or boots. The raised design allows for rain or snow to drain off the boots and then I can just rinse the tray later. I love it!

Excellent Product
Purchased this for my backdoor where i have no entry way. Sturdy, big enough, hard to say attractive since it's a big black rubber thing, but it kinda is. Just the right thing to drop the wet boots onto. it smelled rubbery for only a couple days and then the smell went away. Thought we wouldn't leave out until winter, but with this rainy spring, it's been a floor saver.

Classy Boot Tray!
This is a step or two up from the ones you can buy in the store. I have two little boys in my house along w/ my husband and they tend to be hard on things. I doubt if they can damage these boot trays! There is a strong rubber smell when you first open them but it goes away. I bought 2 of these and think that anyone would love them esp the pretty design on the inside.

Perfectamundo!
This tray is perfect! It's able to hold my husband's size 13 work boots and all of the mud, dirt, water, grease, sludge and etc. in this tidy tray. It keeps it contained so it doesn't slop all over the floor. Just take it outside or to the bathtub and wash it off. No need to rush cause it's not going anywhere. Easy Peasy! Love the rubber boot tray!
I had been looking at the Ballard boot trays in general, trying to decide between the metal and the rubber one. I decided to just go for the leopard print boot tray, and ordered 2 of them; one for my front door, and one for the door from the garage. They are working out SO well, I wish I had ordered them a long time ago! Another great purchase from Ballard Designs.

This product is very helpful as well as attractive
The Boot Tray is a great product. We have it by our front door and shoes can be dropped off immediately as we walk into the house. It is attractive and is easily out of the way of foot traffic. It is easy to clean and it is substantial since it is made out of rubber. I have given it as gifts this year at Christmas and all the recipients are pleased with the tray.

Sturdy boot tray
This product is great for what I needed it for, especially since I got it on sale. It is sturdy and easy to clean. Holds about 4 pairs of boots. The reason I did not give it five stars is because it does have a strong rubber odor that I did not expect, but it does seem to be wearing off. Otherwise, very useful in protecting the floor and maintaining order.

Perfect boot tray!
I never thought I'd describe a boot tray as beautiful, but this one is. The design works perfectly in the mudroom. It's a great size and fits right under our bench. Some other reviewers mentioned that it had a rubbery smell, and I did notice it when I took it out of the box, but it's gone now. Also, I was very impressed by how quickly this was delivered.

It can hold only 4 pairs of shoes.
It is a functional piece, fitting only four pairs of adult sized shoes. If you have more than 4 in your household this boot tray will not be large enough for your household. The whole unit is made of rubber. Therefore, you will not scratch your door if you were to hit the boot tray when you open the door. It is a functional piece but not very attractive.

Super functional & stylish!
I am loving my rubber boot tray - perfect for messy shoes & boots with the winter weather. The tray is molded from a heavy duty rubber material, so it's very durable. I am very happy with my purchase - I searched my local stores for something similar but came up with only too expensive or ugly options, so save yourself the time & just order this one! :)

Leopard Boot Tray
I ordered the boot tray in the leopard design and I have been very happy with my purchase. It is of very good quality, large enough to hold 3-4 pair of shoes/boots and is quite attractive for a boot tray! I would recommend this without hesitation to anyone considering it. On top of all this, it was reasonably priced. Should last me a long, long time!

HIGHLY recommend
The boot tray is not only very stylish but VERY effective for it's purpose. Living in WI it traps all the wet snow and dirt that once ended up as a puddle on my wood floor. When i want to clean it I just spray it off. I have been looking at this for months and when it went on sale I jumped. Price was fantasic along with great/fast shipping. LOVE IT!

Excellent Product
I live in an apartment and sanitize my shoes before entering from the street. This product allows my shoes to air out and the tray is stylish when I look down my hallway. It fits my family of three shoes quite well and I am very pleased with this purchase. It hits two main things for me, stylish and practical. I also found this price reasonable.

Excellent quality and extremely durable
I bought this boot tray for myself and loved it so much I decided to give as a gift for my mother. We always remove our shoes at back door before entering her house and this was the perfect gift for her. I ordered a second one for myself anf placed it at my back door as well. Love it so much I'm contemplating a third one for my back porch!
