Standard Delivery Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.

Do not buy this basket!
I ordered this basket and I was so disappointed when it arrived. The color is not like it looks in the picture. It is orange, and instead of looking like the rattan is stained, it looks like it is painted----unevenly----splattered in several places. The rattan was broken in a couple of places, and it looks very cheaply made. I called Ballard and they picked up the basket for return, and sent me another one to replace it. The second basket was even more orange in color, and the rattan was broken in even more places. Ballard was great as far as customer service was concerned, but this product is not up to Ballard standards.

Excellent product
I bought three of these baskets--two for me and one for my friend (as a Christmas gift). My friend was delighted with hers.
I use mine all the time because I have three sets of stairs and things just collect. Now they end up where they belong! The little compartment baskets are the best part--no more small items rolling around or getting lost.
The quality of weaving in some baskets can be poor, but not in these--they are tightly woven and I expect them to last a long time.
The only improvement I can suggest is the addition of handles.
I definitely recommend these baskets. There are some on the market that are cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

This basket saves me a lot of trips up and down the stairs
I looked at a lot of these step baskets before choosing this one. My toddler is constantly "relocating" things around the house, so this helps us organize things we need to take back upstairs. The basket is sturdy, and should last for years to come. I really love that it has a smaller removable basket inside the big basket. I haven't seen any others with this feature. This is great for when you just need to carry a few small things, like bottled water, or a notepad. This basket is larger than it appears, and really holds a lot. It saves me so many trips up and down the stairs....great product.

Looks good on stairs
Wanted to keep stairs clutter free while stuff is in transit between upstairs and downstairs. I realized we really don't need this big a basket to keep few bills or toys. However I just like the look of stairs with the basket even when basket is empty. We kept it on 5th/6th stair so it is easy to drop things through railing gaps without bending. It doesn't fit exactly on our stairs but it stays put. I am going to try filling the big basket with artificial yellow flowers and stems when I find the right kind.
