Standard Delivery
Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery
Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice.
In-Home Delivery
In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery
Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.
Express Delivery
Express orders received by 3 p.m. EST are shipped the same day.

great product with a minor flaw
I love these baskets, I baught two of them and they are exactly the size and style that I was looking for. I ended up getting the darker ones. The basket seems very stiff and peices of the outside were already chipping off, maybe due to the staining process. I don't mind the distressed look but I don't think that this was the intent. I think they are well made structuraly and will hold up great over time. I love the handles. I use mine in the living room for three big blankets and they other near our back door to catch random things like bags and jackets. For the price they are a great value considering the size. We shopped a lot for a basket this size and these were the best.

Very stiff, like a tree branch. Market baskets should be somewhat flexible.
I ordered two of these baskets based on the other reviews. Unfortunately I was not as happy with these baskets as other Ballard customers.
The basket was very, very stiff. It snagged my sweater removing it from the box.
I thought it would be smooth to the touch and flexible, however it is so stiff it will crack and chip off.
It was not shipped securely. One of the baskets arrived damaged -- they need to tape the top and sides during shipping.
Darn! I wanted to love these!!!

Love The Basket & Excellent Customer Service
I love this basket the size perfect for floor use or the top of a wall unit for a great decorating statement. It is a firm, rigid basket, having the ability to stand alone, nothing flimsy about it. An excellent product for the price. My color choice, the dark wash gray, which is more of a rich dark brown, did have some slight flaking, which I advised Ballard's representative of, prior to my order. I must commend Ballard's customer service when I shared this issue, their representative was truly concerned, extremely courteous, supportive, offering their suggestions and assistance on my new order. These attributes are hard to find these days and shows that Ballards is a true professional organization.

Not as nice as the photo
In the catalog, the basket looks large, soft and with a smaller weave. The real thing is smaller looking, stiff, bent and generally cheap looking. It's okay for blanket storage in the family room but not as lovely as I had hoped.

Wonderfully attractive storage solution
After reading some reviews, was afraid the dark wash would be too gray, but it's more of an "off-black" and combines perfectly with my new dark brown living room furniture. My ivory throws don't really match my new living room colors, so this basket is a perfect storage solution, keeping them close at hand without displaying them on the sofa. I've been pleased with everything I've ordered from Ballard throughout the years, but can say this basket is a really good value considering the size and attractive appearance. I'm ordering another one in the light color for the bedroom throws!

These baskets multi-task very well!
I bought four of these baskets and have been so pleased with them. I am a picky basket person and these are the best I have used because they are big but lightweight, durable, and easy to carry with a reasonable weight load. They make great hampers, carry baskets for room clean up (especially kids things), or just sitting as a decoration with magazines in in. Thank you, Ballard Designs!

Great for family room, but...
I've got the dark one and loved this basket for quite a while. I've used it in our family room to store all of our throws. I've had this for over a year now and recently discovered it is "chipping" off on the surface which reveals the light colored material underneath. Since the color does not go all the way through the water hyacinth (it is stained on), I now have spots where it has come off. I wouldn't think it would go through that much wear & tear with just light throws/blankets. Love the look, but disappointing for the price.

larger than it looks
I ordered both the natural and dark baskets. One is going in the master bath to hold towels and the other holds magazines, books, and things you want out of view. They are larger than they look but immediately warm up any room. I love the look of them. Very well made. Very functional.

Great size and quality for the price
For whatever reason, I didn't have high expectations, but I was happily surprised when it arrived - the quality is fantastic! I ordered both colors and the gray is a little darker than pictured, but still nice. The natural is just beautiful...not too "country-ish". A basket like this would cost at least double at another big-name retail chain - I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, big basket to hold throw blankets, pillows, or just about anything!

I Love It!!!
I could not believe how big this basket was when it came. I just love it and for the price you cannot beat it. I many just have to buy more. I love the weaving, i have a coastal decor and it just fits right in. Just can't say enough about it. Definately recommend.

Provence Market Basket Marvelous

Beautiful Sturdy Basket-BIG!
This basket is very well made! It's sturdy and very large. I bought the black basket. It goes perfect with my black furniture. A great purchase! Could hold newspapers or even firewood.

Form & Function!
Very cute, spacious basket. I use it in my living room to collect extra throw pillows. I had to wait for delivery while it was on backorder, but it was so worth it!

collectable basket
I have collected baskets from all over the world for over 40 years. This is among the best quality crafted baskets I have. It is sturdy; made with no nails, screws, wire , only natural materials. It shows truly quality craftmanship. If you love baskets, you will need to add this one to your collection, even if it is the beginning of a collection!

A little disappointed but beautiful style
I have to agree with flychick. I had high expectations for this basket. It's VERY light and not extremely durable, especially around children. I'm afraid my 8 month old will get a hold of this and ruin it. If you do not have young kids then you have no worries. However this basket is beautifully styled. I am using it for the guest room to store a shabby chic quilt.
If you prefer something heavier/sturdier/childproof try the Suzanne Kasler Set of 3 Market Baskets - These are great! My son has not been able to ruin it yet lol

Nice basket but would only recommend it in the natural color
The basket is a great size, but I would not recommend it in this finish as it came with many areas of color rubbed off, looking as though it was given a quick spray of paint. Also there was no packing and the rubbing of the handle against the box broke the weaving in two areas, and again the natural color shows there as well.

LOVE IT!
Exactly what I expected and really love this table. Fits perfectly where I needed it in my living room. Seems sturdy and of good construction. Color is beautiful. Really can't say enough good about it...for the price I couldn't find ANYTHING I liked any better, not even close. Only downside is the time it took to arrive.

Commodious and Stylish
I purchased the basket for my daughter’s home by the shore to hold magazines and other reading material. The size and shape hide everything while the color, charcoal, and weave adds an interesting touch to the room. It would make a great catch-all for the foyer as well. Shipped quickly, priced very well for the size.

Great basket!
I ordered two of these, one in each color -- and love them! One is my new laundry basket (that can sit out and not be an eye sore). It's easy to carry and a nice size. The other holds fire wood. The gray coverage probably could be better -- but for fire wood, it's just fine. I'm back to order more!

Outstanding basket
I was so surprised by the size and quality of the basket. It is great. I had one idea on how to use it but am using it for another idea and now I want another basket. Please keep them in your product line. Friends would like to have one also. Also it is agreat value for the money.

very useful while looking good
This basket is a very nice design and large. It can hold pillows or whatever else you need it for. At the moment I am using mine to hold baking sheets, muffin pans, and large items that are hard to store away. It keeps them upright and neat in my pantry.

Beautiful, and useful, too!
I ordered 2 of these baskets with a $50 gift certificate from Ballard - loved that! The baskets are huge and very functional. I use one to hold extra pillows in the living room, and one for my laundry basket. Very well-built. Love Ballard!

Well made
I was pleasantly surprised regarding the capacity of this basket. I use it to store at least three good-sized aghgans. And when winter is over, I can easily transport the basket and contents with its well located side handles.

perfect
this basket has a beautiful shape and is very sturdy. i was looking at a similar basket that was twice as much and this one is just as nice. i use it in my babies room to hold his blankets and it's perfect.

Product exceeded my expectations.

A basket with great style
I was a bit shocked when I opened the box because the Provence Market Basket is a lot bigger than I was expecting (not that I paid attention to the dimensions — my fault). But I do love it! It has presence and quality construction and can hold a lot of whatever you plan on putting in it (a quilt, magazines, flowers, etc.). Mine is more decorative, resting on the bottom shelf of a sofa table. I've had complements on it, which is saying something for a basket. Definitely recommend it!
