Standard Delivery Orders are shipped by standard ground and usually arrive within 3-7 business days. Items ordered at the same time may not be delivered together.
Threshold Delivery Threshold Deliveries are made by standard truck, unloaded by the driver and placed inside the first-floor doorway, garage or covered area of your choice. Delivery is typically 2-3 weeks from the date item is shipped but may vary depending on your residence and location of shipment pickup.
In-Home Delivery In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)
O/S (Oversized) Delivery Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.

Swatch Shipping Ballard Designs offers up to 10 free swatches for all of our fabrics for a small fee of $5.95 for shipping and processing. It will take 3-7 business days for your swatches to arrive. The swatches are approximately a 3" X 3" square.

The Paulette Server was the perfect size to put on either side of my bed to give more storage in my bedroom. I was hoping it would be sage green rather than grey as other raters have commented and sure enough, it was a very nice sage green. The quality is medium, not cheap but not high end either.

I bought this server in the gray, and had to send back the first two shipped out since they both arrived with serious defects in construction. When the third and final piece finally arrived, the quality was not much better. Very thin marble glued onto a thin strip above the drawers, and poor drawer mechanisms that get stuck easily. The drawer mechanisms are also very noisy. And both my drawer handles have since come loose and don't sit securely against the drawers -- and there is no fix for this since the holes drilled for the drawer handles are apparently too big for the diameter of the drawer hardware. $600 would be a generous price for the quality you get. Looks good in the tiny photos you see online, but not a quality piece of furniture by any stretch.

I bought two of these in walnut awhile ago and really need to tell people - this is not a high-quality piece of furniture. A fair price for this server is probably $600. The drawers do not come out all of the way (be careful of linens/bags that get stuck behind the drawer, you'll be fishing them out with a coat hanger, I've done this twice). The small drawers have fixed dividers in them, limiting their use. The hutch sits on top of the base with felt 'feet', which are highly visible on the walnut server, and look terrible. The marble is only on the front part of the base and is glued on. On my pieces the glue is visible and the marble doesn't sit flush.
If you're going to spend the money (and Ballard seems to keep raising the price on this piece), go somewhere else.

Love this server. I use it in my bedroom for display and storage. It is well made and sturdy. It is more a dark greenish grey but works well in my room anyway. The only negative thing I have to say about this server is that the paint fumes and odor are extremely strong. I love this server so I have been trying to get rid of the odor by placing baking soda in the drawers to try and get rid of the overpowering smell. I have also used our heavy duty air purifier for days in the room. I have had this now for approximately 6 weeks and the smell, although diminished a little still is strong. I haven't placed anything in the drawers as yet because I am afraid linens and things will capture the odor and ruin whatever I have in there. I will eventually try to paint it if all else fails. Has anyone else had this problem?
