Nice finish and great quality
This small organizer was very pretty and practical. The black finish looked great on my black granaite countertop. It really did a great job at getting all of my daughter's "school stuff" organized.

Useful and attractive
I got a large corner unit for my new home office, and I put this organizer on top of two drawer units. It not only adds visual interest to a bare desktop, but is also invaluable in corralling all those little items (like folders you're currently working on) that would normally clutter up the place. I love it and plan on buying the smaller one as well.

Exactly what I had been looking for
The Home Office Desk Organizer is exactly what I had been looking but had been unable to find. It is large enough to be practical without being overwhelming in size. The quality of material and construction live up to Ballard Design's reputation. I had been to office supply stores and various web sites and everything I found was either commercial looking or plastic. Ballard Design's Desk Organizer is an actual piece of furniture and one which can be used anyplace in the home. I am very, very pleased with it and would enthusiastically reccommend to anyone looking for this type of item.

only problem-white paint easily married & chipped
Still lacking one piece. However the design and arrangement of the pieces I bought is marvelous! Made my life so much better and easier.
I just wish you had used a more durable white paint. My other daughter and husband really loved my desk but did not buy because of the finish. My daughter and husband who did buy the desk, have the same complaint.
I would recommend to any and all, with the reservation about the finish.

Does the job beautifully!
We purchased the black finish. It looks great and is fully functional for organizing mail, note pads, pencils, coupons, and stamps on our kitchen counter top. No more piles of paper and stuff at the end of our beautiful black granite counter top in the kitchen.

Excellent quality...I love it!
The desk organizer is just as described. I have an exact 30 l/2 inch space and it fits perfectly. It has lots of compartments to keep everything organized. I just love it!

A well-designed organizer
I am completely enjoying my Desk Organizer. I have it on my kitchen counter for coupons, grocery lists, stamps, eyeglasses, etc. It is a great way to organize the usual countertop clutter. It is a classy, well-built unit that looks great in my kitchen.

Perfect organizer
I use this in my mudroom. It's perfect for storing frequently used items, sorting mail, iPod chargers, earbuds, bills to be paid and lots of other things. Plus, it looks elegant and substantial. I love it!

Great organizer
I absolutely love my new desk organizer. It has lots of drawers, just the right about of cubbies, and is so pretty. My built in desk and bookcases are oak, but since I have the computer monitor and a flat screen TV here, I ordered the black, and it is just right. My desk finally looks organized and pretty. It is very well built and sturdy. Love it.

very versatile
I was tired of trying to shove all of the mail, bills, and coupons into a basket on my kitchen counter, so I recently purchased the medium desk organizer in black. It is just what I needed. I was afraid that it would look too much like an office organizer sitting on my kitchen counter, but the look is so versatile that it works perfectly. It is solidly constructed and the color matches my surrounding decor. Two thumbs up!

Love it!
This is a very handy & pretty organizer. It holds everything I need for paying bills & correspondence. It's made in China, but it's not flimsy or cheap-looking. I got the rubbed black, which goes with the primitive decor in my kitchen. I had been looking for something like this for quite a while. This organizer was perfect.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!!
I have always loved those old secretary desks with tons of drawers and little cubbies but I just do not have room for one of those in my tiny (6'x11' and under some eaves) new home office space. I am a sucker for drawers and compartments...This is a modern take on those desks. It has a place for everything. I will definitely be more organized in 2012! Might need the smaller version in the kitchen....hmmm.....

Wonderful look and organizer
After I saw the organizer in my friend's home, I loved the distressed look. I took the measurements and decided it would look perfect in my home and help keep stacks of papers off my counter. Very, very pleased with my choice!!!!

Great desk accessory!
I love this piece. It holds a lot of items and matches my Ballard desk perfectly.

I really like this product! It's like a briefcase with all the objects visible and at your fingertips.
I was uncertain at first about three questions:1)size, 2) functionality, and 3) value for the cost. I found the medium size is very functional and a very good value for the money. The color fits almost any decor. I'm thinking about buying another one.

JUST PERFECT
I bought this piece to replace an outdated piece that I was using for pens, notes, menus, etc. in the kitchen. I bought the smaller of the two available because of the limited space I had. It is just perfect. The black compliments other pieces in the kitchen and it has just the right amount of compartments for everything I want to store in it. I like that it has drawers that I've used for pens. Much neater to have them hidden away. Believe it or not, a couple of people have actually noticed the piece and complimented me on it.
