Standard Delivery

In-Home Delivery
In-Home Deliveries are made by standard truck, placed inside your home wherever you like, inspected, and the packaging removed. Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks from Ship Date for your order to arrive. An agent will call to schedule your delivery. (Not available in all states.)

Items that are heavy or bulky are subject to an Oversized Delivery surcharge. This charge is listed after the item price.

The Ballard Desk Organizer is the perfect fit for the perfect space in our kitchen! It helps our whole family organize the most important details in our "crazy corner" as we call it!

Love it!
Bought this with the 2 drawer organizer and both are great! I'm using them on my kitchen desk and finally have some organization! No more piles of mail and random stuff. Both are quality made and look great!

Beautiful Organization
I saw the two organizers in the catalogue and really loved the large one, but wasn't sure how it would look on my husband's desk which is small. I ordered both. The smaller one is perfect for his desk and has a nice selection of slots and cubby holes. The large one is really spectacular. It was too big for his desk so I am using it on my desk at my office. Even there it is quite large and I have to move it to the side when clients come in because I can't see over it. It has a space for everything. I've never felt so organized before and I love it. The finish really matches well with my desk. (The small one does not match my husband's and there were no colors that did, but I still like it.) I have shopped around for desk organizers online, in stores, and catalogues and have seen nothing as nice as these. My only complaint is that the large one has a tiny defect in the finish, right on the top. Luckily it is covered with my stuff. In summary, they are beautiful, practical and useful. My only caution is that you should check the measurements of the large one and think about whether it will fit on your desk as it really is big.

Great quality....
We ordered 4 filing cabinets, two desk tops, one desk organizer, all in the Tuscan Brown shade. The quality and workmanship is even better than I expected. Nothing to put together, just take it out of the box and set it up! This is for a home office, which is actually in one half of our already small living room, so I didn't want "officy" looking furniture...this is perfect! And it was on sale, but even not on sale, the price is really reasonable for the quality of the pieces. Couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Superb quality
I was so pleased to see this organizer when it arrived. It is heavy, solid and really nice looking. It has really helped organize a kitchen desk that was formerly a dumping ground. It has a very rich look and really adds to our space.

No more mail clutter in the kitchen
The mail & magazines are there but look so neat now. Love the organizer and the drawers are perfect for stamps and misc. items. On the top I can stack gift cards and coupons that are now in sight. At this time of the year we get all kinds of catalogs in the mail and I want a chance to look through them before throwing them in the recycle bin! Now I can put them neatly in the organizer and they don't make my kitchen counter look so messy all the time!

DISTRESSED and does NOT match rest of collection
Careful on purchasing this organizer if you want it to match the rest of your "original home office" purchase. I ordered this in dark gray to match my new OHO desk and credenza purchase but this (and the other size) come "distressed" with what looks like 3 areas of large paint chipped down to a brown base. The paint is also a different color gray than the desk. My husband who does not notice such things IMMEDIATELY noticed and asked why I had not returned it. I called customer service and they confirmed that this product is intentionally made this way. Otherwise, appears well made and useful but I really do not like that it looks used. I may return it despite its usefullness.

Great Organizer, but paint not great
I love this organizer. It has a place for everything. I ordered both sizes and love them both. The large is really amazing. However, I ordered the gray and can see brown, stained wood in places where the paint has been removed. I'm not sure if the paint being removed is intentional or not. It doesn't say anything in the description about the gray being distressed, but that is how it looks. I exchanged the first ones I got and the new ones have the same thing. So, if you get the gray, expect it to look distressed on the edges. Actually, what it looks like is that the gray was painted over the Tuscan Brown color and some of the paint peeled off. I really like the gray color and I've decided to live with the brown stain that I can see where the gray has come off. I wish Ballard Designs would sell touch up paint for their products!

Perfect!

Excellent Desk Organizer!
I purchased the large organizer for my work officer and received numerous compliments just on the 1st day!! My desk is now organized with lots of storage drawers and spaces left for more.

Love the large one!
I have the large one in my cubicle at work and I love it. I've received many compliments. The only "improvement" I would suggest is a small hole in the back of the three compartments above the two middle drawers. That would turn it into a first class charging station.

Great Quality
I am very pleased with the craftsmanship of this product. I really enjoy all the purchases I make from Ballard Designs, and this one is exceptional. very attractive; well organized for desktop clutter
I am pleased with how well it keeps necessities like stamps, paper clips, rubber bands, etc. in perfect order and at my fingertips.
The unit is well made and well finished so that it is an enhancement to decor as well as to efficiency.
If I were to change anything, I would add more space for "stand-up items" like phone books and check books.
I am very happy with it overall.

Better than I expected!
I love this desktop organizer. It is a very sturdy and well made piece. It looks great on my country kitchen desk. The previous reviews indicated I would be happy with my purchase but it was even more perfect because once I decided to buy, I discovered it was on sale!

Just not my style
When I set up the organizer, I realized that its configuration reveals too much of my "stuff". i am trying to simplify and establish calm in my life and looking at the organizer with items visible in the many slots did not accomplish my goal. I am reverting to my original plan of buying stacking drawers that will hide everything. I'm sure the organizer would be fine for many other people who have different concerns than I! I also purchased the 4-drawer file cabinet and love it! The quality is excellent, as I have found all Ballard items to be.

Not enough stars
This organizer was so worth the cost and wait - it was out of stock and I had to wait for months, but am so glad I did! It arrived in huge packaging - completely assembled, but so well padded, you'd have thought it was a desk or piano. It sits on my piano, as I am a music teacher and my piano is my desk. It completely organizes my entire studio with no mess spilling onto the piano. Quite an accomplishment with 40 students a week. This one organizer has made my life infinitely easier. All that, and it's beautiful to look at, too.

Useful and versatile. Great organizer!
THe Home Office Desk Organizer is all I hoped it would be. We use it on a (very visible) table in our great room and the variety of cubbyholes organize all our "stuff" --glasses, keys, phone book, letters-to-be-mailed, camera, etc. We also own a Home Office desk (in another room) so we now have the capability to mix and match if we move furniture around. We had a long wait for delivery (satisfactorialy acknowledged by BD), but it arrived safe and sound. Great product!

The wood on this product is beautiful
I was very disappointed at having to wait almost 3 months for delivery, but was so excited when it finally arrived. However, after having it for a short period of time, I am sorry to say that I have had a problem in that the little brass pull on the right hand drawer broke off. We have no children and the drawer has been opened about 6 times at most and very carefully I might add. You can imagine my huge disappointment when this happened so with this in mind I am not certain I can recommend this to my friends, although I must say that the rest of the item is wonderful. The wood is beautiful!

This is the perfect solution to clutter!
My office desk was a mess. Now there's a place for everything I need to have within reach. Rather than separate containers for file folders, note pads, paper clips, binder clips, rubber bands, etc., everything is now in this one unit. And besides the great organization, it looks beautiful! Now I want one for my home office and another for my kitchen.

This product is quality built
I wanted this for an area of my counter top that always ends up a junk pile. Since I organized my phone lists and pencils and paper my counter always stays clear. The workmanship is top notch. Love it!
